A couple of months in Chiang Mai - Help please

Featured Replies

worry about the festival when you are here, but it is complete madness and you will get soaked if you leave your house for a discreet 7/11 run in the daytime!

For your license, I am not sure the exact rules, but if you are here over X amount of months you must obtain a one year thai driving license which is fairly easy to do with an international license, but requires some paperwork.

Cheers Mark.... can't work out if the festival will be fun or a pain in the 'ar•e'  :-)

Just a friendly advice, try to avoid any motorbike riding during songkran , unless you want to get injured.
