Anyone know where I might buy a skipping rope in Bangkok please? I think they are called a jump rope in the US.

 

Not the heavy plastic hose type that they use in the Muay Thai gyms. My current one made of leather has finally broken.

Save your energy and search "jump rope" on Lazada.com.  Make sure it's not "Delivered from Overseas" and you should have it in a day or 2.

 

Otherwise, I'd Google Decathlon to find a store near you- tied in with TESCO Lotus, or SuperSports as a 3rd option.  They're in most major malls.
