I've only just realised that "MATE" is also an accronym of "TEAM" . Pretty coincidental eh :D

I'm just going to be pedantic, if only to stop this turning into a 'change a letter' thread....... team is an anagram of mate not an acronym.

Thanks red, I like giving people a giggle! However, I'm not a scouser, I'm Irish - Although I said it was quintessentially British the Irish say it as well!!!
