BANGKOK: -- One of the Thai women who fled the airport after a cache of rhino horns were found in luggage earlier this month has given herself up.

Fifty six year old Thitirat Arai from Bangkok had been wanted since the bags containing 21 horns weighing nearly 50 kilos were discovered on March 10th, reported Daily News.

She had fled along with her friend Kansinee Anutranusat a native of Nakorn Pathom.

Various police and a justice department official from Saraburi are implicated in the scandal. The horns were worth 100 million baht.

Thitirat denies involvement saying she was at the airport after coming back from Cambodia where she had been on a gambling trip. She said she had been called by the other woman involved to meet at the baggage claim but that she had no idea what was in the bags.

She said she did not know the official from Saraburi whose name is Woraphat Bunsri.

Police said they do not believe her story and she has been detained and handed over by Region One cops to airport authorities.

Vain men and myth surrounding the rhino horn, by mainly

Chinese, be it mainland or Hong Kong, drive the destruction

of these walking tanks,

A serious education drive on the con of using horn, that dispels all

the medicinal use of powder horn, not just a 20 second commercial,

a real commitment, save the rhino fund needs constant funding from these

unbalanced  small penis syndrome men,,

There are enough pills,  jellies, and good looking skilled sex workers out there in the world,

that will make the smallest

John Thomas, stand to attention,

There's a good documentary on Netflix about the ivory trade. Very sad and disturbing to watch but very educational.

To think that there are idiots out there who think elephant and rhino ivory can give you special powers is depressing. We condemn these beliefs, and rightly so, yet we let other silly beliefs go by without ridicule because it's someone's 'personal belief or culture'.

Catch anyone! We don't care who as long as it deflects attention from us! Do it quickly!

Turning herself in now means that she has already made a "Deal" with the top BIB ( a few new Benzes for his family) and will fair OK later.

Rhino horn is not ivory. and There are some in The western world that is legal to keep but they are over 50 years old and the rhino horns that was shown in the photos would be worth over $ 25,000,000 US Dollars  ( 875,000,000 baht)  if they were legal. Now you know why The Cambodian government will not burn their huge catch of illegal ivory. The ivory will just end up in the private collections in Cambodia with paper work showing that it was brought in many years ago.
