Availability of Cheap hotel in Hua His with no reservation?

Featured Replies

My gf and I are going to Hua Him during songkran. We booked a fairly cheap hotel for 2 nights (10th-11th) and then planned on renting a scooter and finding another place. We're hoping we can find a decent place that we can see first.. doesn't really matter where it is as we'll be buzzing around on a scooter. If we couldn't find one we could jump on a train and come home or randomly explore. Any thoughts? As in will everything cheap and sort of nice will be booked up? Thanks, Scott

You could try Baan Hua Hin resort on Soi 94, only 590 Baht midweek and I think 750 on a weekend. Soi 94 is a great area for eating and drinking.

BTW not Hua His, or Him but Hin.

thanks - I'll try those out!

1200 Baht, no reservation needed at Serviced Apartments behind bus station. near Soi 94.  Neat, clean with breakfast.

I ended up reserving through Agoda, however, after going there I"d easily could've found a place with the above suggestions or riding around looking for one. Renting a scooter definitely opens up the place, but I wouldn't recommend doing it that way unless you are an experienced rider; the roads are big, fast and wet if its during Songkran.
