Thai Trade and Economic Office Taipei has recently decided to extend visa-free visits to Taiwan by holders of Thai passports for another year as of August 1, 2017 until August 31, 2018.

 

According to the website of the East Asian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the one-year extension of the visa-free visits to Thai visitors holding Thai passports was intended to promote tourism, trade, economic and cultural relations between Taiwan and Thailand.
