If war breaks out in Korea and it probably will how will it effect Thailand and us living here?

There could be a small threat based on there short to  medium based missiles I suppose. Hard to say what might happen. Although I expect any launches from N Korea would be destroyed over N KOREA itself before the war heads could arm. So really the only effect it might have on Thailand is a drop in tourist numbers as people would be worrI'd unnecessarily. Those living here would I suspect see no difference to there day to day lives. Except of course for the false and misleading news and rumour which would be bound to follow.

However saying that I seriously doubt it will happen the Chinese would stop any attempt by N KOREA to launch any missile in anger so to speak. I belive if they did and went against China it would be China not USA or allies who downd N KOREA. So rest easy

North Korea is going to need bigger rubber bands if it wants to threaten anyone!

Local kimchi and soju prices will increase.

Don't worry you've got a Thai aircraft carrier and 3 submarines that will guarantee your protection. Expats will be the highest priority as such for the Govt among all who live in the Kingdom.

South Korea would suffer massive casualties in and around Seoul. Then the North would be destroyed.
