CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (Reuters) - NASA's Cassini spacecraft sent the closest-ever images of Saturn on Thursday after surviving its first plunge inside the planet's rings, the U.S. space agency said.

Taiwan says no plans 'at this stage' for phone call with U.S. president

TAIPEI (Reuters) - Taiwan's presidential office on Friday said it had no plans "at this stage" to hold a telephone call with U.S. President Donald Trump, and understood that the United States had priorities in handling Asia-Pacific regional affairs.

Trucker leads cops on 70km chase through Phitsanulok

PHITSANULOK: -- In scenes straight out of an action movie, an 18-wheel truck ploughed through police checkpoints on Thursday evening and led pursuers on a 70-kilometre chase through three districts of Phitsanulok, sometimes at high speed.

PHUKET: -- Three men, including an ex-employee of Triple T Broadband Public Company Limited (3BB), were arrested yesterday afternoon for stealing more than 60 batteries from the company’s signal booster boxes in Thalang.
