Police told to obtain arrested warrant for Red Bull heir ‘Boss’

if you have the cash, you can get a real passport issued in any name you want from various different countries.

he can party in Belize, or Central or South America.

if his handlers are smart, they won't let him be photographed at public events.

His handlers and himself don't give a toss, they are above the law and have utter contempt of it.

The one sure way to get "Boss" Red Bull to surrender is for Thailand to ban the sale of all Red Bull products in Thailand until he does.

Probably not a chance in h_ll for that.

For the rich money concerns override honor.

Headline new on the BBC website, fantastic that the RED Bull Company is getting it's reputation destroyed.

Surprised the Mirror has' nt splashed this on the front  page or all european papers

Nothing will happen to this little coward, the privileged here will always be above any law.

An arrest warrant has been approved by the court.

An arrest warrant is a piece of paper and therefore easy to produce, serving it to the defendant in his hand is the tricky bit !

My monies on him staying elusive in the worlds exclusive resorts funded by the family.
Why has his passport not been revoked or at least red-flagged??

or have all his assets frozen!

will the authorities be able to catch him in his farrari ? looks like the police officer tried to stop him possibly for speeding , the officer felt the full force of this type of car , i hope they find him he is probably at a race track , its a case of im a rich kid and does what the hell he wants , it would be good to see him behind bars and throw a few ladyboys in his cell that would stiffen up the case .

you were fine until you decided to tacitly impugn katoeys as being criminal  murderers on the same level as this spoiles rich scion;

have you ever stopped to think that people's attitudes such as yours are what makes it so tough for katoeys

throughout the world, and essentially force them into sex work since they can't always get jobs?

Are they capable of understanding that the best thing is for him to surrender? An extended public boycott could destroy the brand- at most he would get 5 years, not likely the Bangkok Hilton, out in 2 -
Had he manned up back when, this would have all been forgotten about by now.

For me there are multiple issues here.

Truth in Thailand is secondary to losing face. The reason for the recent case activity is that the story has gone 'international'. Now suddenly the Thai authorities are being made to look stupid (loss of face).

Another is the 'brown envelope' problem. It is possible/probable that a few/many have had their cut and know that if BOSS actually gets to trial a can of wriggly worms will be opened; big time.

The police silence, lack of effort and will-power astounds me. This guy actually killed one of their own in nasty, horrible circumstances. You might think they would have done, and would be doing, everything possible to nail him. Instead they seem to be doing the opposite. Just who is puppet master here? It's got me baffled!!

I don't think boycotting the 'RED BULL' brand in Thailand would make any difference in terms of revenue. The actual loss would be insignificant. Where I can see the benefit in this action is that if the international community could follow suit; thus bringing even more loss of face as it gets further reported around the world.

AN ARREST warrant was issued yesterday for Vorayuth “Boss” Yoovidhya, the heir to the Red Bull fortune accused in the hit-and-run death of a police officer in 2012, enabling police to hunt for the 31-year-old fugitive.

What a pathetic statement.

Sutthi Kittisupaporn, chief of the Department of Southern Bangkok Criminal Litigation, said on Friday that his office had already asked Thong Lor police to locate and bring to the prosecutors the 31-year-old grandson of the late Red Bull co-founder Chaleo Yoovidhya.

Skip the BS and contact Interpol.

will the police release their 20 year plan to catch him? C'mon, show us you are serious this time!

“Don’t worry. Thai police have been constantly trying to catch those with arrest warrants on them all along,” he added.

And the BS gets even deeper.

When and if they catch him and get him back on Thai soil it will be lights action camera pass the envelopes if you please.

He should phone Thaksin for a list of countries that issue passports for cash; IF Thailand ever got bold enough to cancel his Thai passport.

I still reckon a boycott of all Red Bull products/events would get the family to reel him in.

indeed- a boycott of ALL Red Bull products & events- but that would have to be WORLDwide in order to be truly effective...

As he becomes a fugitive, cancel his passport and demand information from the lawyers and family.

His lawyers have already stated he is to busy having fun to return. Information from the family hmm that one is not a hard one to answer. First the mother is running the race circuit with him so who is left to ask of any importance?

if he has got away for 5 years then he will probably get away for another 15. be interesting to know which passports he now holds. he has had 5 years to start collecting them without any international warrant outstanding on him.

Don't hold your breath!

Ya, you'd think TL police would have been hard on this case, at least, since it was one of their own that got killed.

But instead, from various reports, just the opposite. Complicit if anything. Money talks and XXXX walks.

Wasn't there a high ranking cozzer here that swore to bring him to justice, regardless of his place in society? and after about 3 months he was questioned about it, and he absolutely denied that he had ever said anything of the sort and that he didn't remember saying anything at all?

It was our friend who got arrested for carrying an illegal gun in Japan, and then had to skunk back home after getting released from jail.

Right after the accident the police chief of Bangkok at that time, Kamronwit Thoopkrajang, promised the public that the culprit in Sergeant-Major Wichian's death would be brought to justice, or he would resign.

Guess what? He never resigned, per his promise. But he did go on to achieve his own special kind of fame for a different reason.

What happened to the guy who killed two University students when he ran into them at a high rate of speed?

Police would still hunt for him if he moved to another country, and if he returned to Thailand he would be arrested, he said.

Makes me wonder how many of the countries have extraditions with Thailand, that and how many years do you think it would take them to "hunt" him down, I dare say, 10 years and one day sounds about right

Until such time as Interpol receives an actual request, it is all smoke and mirrors,  INMHO

Who want's to bet on how long it will take for his lawyers to bring suit to quash the warrant,  probably based upon  prosecutorial  delay  !!!

Until Interpol receives a request for what exactly?

Cancel his passport. Formally notify INTERPOL. Job done.

INTERPOL has no arrest authority so...job not done.

would INTERPOL get involved in a driving causing death by an accident
