Converting True Tourist Sim to Normal Sim

Featured Replies

I bought a true 4g tourist sim at the airport and the package just expired.  When I tried to apply for a normal package it said in Thai "You are not able to apply for this package."  I'm assuming that's because I'm have the tourist sim right?  Any advice?

What do you mean?  I registered the sim when I got it at the airport.  For the package I tried to apply for, that didn't get registered and just sent me an SMS saying i'm not able to apply for it, but no further explanation.

I tried to do it over the internet and got this message

"Sorry, your number cannot buy this package or as a package can not buy duplicate when it is not expired. (For the service number is used efficiently and packages has increased, visit the True shop for change the SIM 4G.)"

So it seems like I'll have to go to the True shop to change my sim type.

Got it all handled.  Had to dial 9305 to change my base package off of the tourist package.  Once that was done I was able to signup for the normal internet package (non tourist sim package).
