No idea I just know there's a pub named after him by the arsenal ground so I thought it might be worth a shot.

Yeah he also managed Arsenal I think.

This is a very famous player.... not as far back as the 1920s though.

What decade did he play?

60s, 70s, and might have even turned out in the 80s! But he would have been old by then.

R2D2 your knowledge looks a bit shaky there mate ????... suggesting a West Ham legend played for the Gooners ????

I know but it could have been one of those dodgy answers where the answer was a player who played 10 games for arsenal and won his caps and his histrionics elsewhere.

Worth a shot anyway.

Reckon that's  me to set a question. Give me a while.

R2D2 your football  knowledge  has been  brought in to question. So a question for you only. No googling. Flying pig - who?

This thread ensures my knowledge cannot be brought into question.

No idea on this pig lad bareback.

Maybe Rooney with his overhead versus city?

Now now you remember the rule. If 3minus2 was here you'd have 10 minutes to set a new question or you pass it on and remember to keep it respectable at all times.

Hope he reads this and chooses the flying pig.

I googled it and I never heard of him but I never really like keepers too much to be honest. Fake footballers really.
