I think this is a badly worded question. It gives no room for Trump supporters to say that he will hang in there and triumph. Or for that matter, Trump non-supporters who think he will survive his current travails.

Why would he resign? He can't be bought and paid for like typical politicians in Washington. That's why the neocons and Dems want him out. He doesn't need to use the US taxpayers as a personal piggy bank for himself and his cronies. But the Dems will tank the economy, screw over the citizens just to make Trump look bad.

Yellen will continue to raise interest rates until it slows down any possible growth the US has. The stock market is on fire, the wealthy have loaded up and will be or are selling now, and by Q4 this year or Q1 next year,  the tanking will begin if Trump is still in office. All the bought and paid for MSM channels will be given their scripts and they will all pronounce, on cue, that the US economy is tanking.

But I have a confession, I did sell my soul and (since the neocons are getting mega-rich off the obsession with invading countries), I've invested in a few defense contractors. It doesn't look like the US is going to stop bombing the world into oblivion in my lifetime so I've hopped on the bandwagon.

So, now I say....Hey Hey USA....invade the rest of the world now! Let's speed up those plans to finish off Syria, invade Iran and North Korea! C'mon USA, there's millions of innocent civilians in these countries that need to learn that if you live in a country with oil/minerals and no Rothschild Central Bank, then you need to die too! I need some profits dammit!

Good thing I'm a better investor than cheerleader or I'd be broke.

You are correct.  Trump will never resign. He is a street fighter that just loves the fight. Not only does the "fight" not tire him; he thrives on it!

As for the infighting within his own party, it is a long time overdue. Far too many Republicans are complacent and unwilling to contribute to real solutions. Then there is another bunch that are Rhinos - reps in name only. Trump is right to call them out. Either support your party or face primary challenges by those willing to do so.

Trump is in a rather unique position to clean up the Republicans as he is the first politician in ages that is not held captive to Republican National purse strings. Turns out Trump can out raise them and has demonstrated his strength already this year. Meanwhile the Dems who depend for their money on the super rich are experiencing huge fund raising issues. As they drift more to the left, even the elitists are worried this is a failing strategy and are also worried about super heavy taxation the dems will impose on the very base that bankrolls the Democratic party.

As for Yellen, a funny thing happened on the way to the Fed. Yes, the Fed is slooooowly raising interest rates for their member banks, but ... but Treasury interest rates are declining!!  Somebody is buying US Federal debt. Could it be Europeans that look at 2.15% annual on 10 year Treasuries as far better than they can get at home? Or is it someone else seeking a "safe haven"?  Something is "funky" as Treasuries usually follow the pattern (not necessarily the same rates) set by the Fed.

True.  He's no puppet of Wall Street.  He's worse.  He's a puppet master of Wall Street.

The rest is a mixture of conspiracy theories and non sequiturs that couldn't convince a senior high school student taking a philosophy course.  Btw, I didn't know the Dems were in control of the WH or the Congress.

I just purchased my second home in Thailand so yes having a better exchange rate would be beneficial to my bank account. Stock market today up across the board, DJ peaked 22,000. I'll take what I can get. I'm stuffing my portfolio so when I say adios to my job in a few years I won't be devastated by the changing exchange rate. I'll be having income from rent, stocks, savings, SS and pension. And of course whatever business I decide to open in LOS.

Never enough or can't ever stop working?

Buying a home? You mean renting for 30 years?

Opening a business? You mean losing your hair and money.

This is not the place to invest or run a business!

Plenty of great investments and good businesses here and no shortage of fine homes.

That those things do not come knocking on YOUR door does not mean they are not plentiful.

It could hardly be any clearer that Putin bought Trump and paid for him.

Trump will quit because it will be the only way he will stay out of prison.  The noose is tightening.

Quitting will not keep the orange buffoon out of prison, the only way he can stay out of prison is to stay in office!

I'm still pretty sure he'll survive.

Whether of not Mueller finds anything that remains to be seen. But remember Clinton; started off with Whitewater and ended up with a stained blue dress, so it's anyone's guess where it ends up.

Personally I think it'll reveal sleaze, after all when isn't a real estate developer somewhat sleazy, but as for a crime, I doubt it.

Biggest question is the GOP itself. I think they have sort of divorced themselves from Trump, considering him an Independent not a Republican. But they still find themselves trapped in that faustian bargain they made, support Trump, get elected.

I would suspect they are praying he does an LBJ, and announces he's not running for a second term, as opposed to the less palatable thought of mounting a primary challenge in 2019.

Up to then, pretty sure they will just bite their collective lips and grin and bear it

I think it will end up with a crime or rather crimes: money laundering and related felonies. That's why Trump is so obsessed with stopping the Russian investigation.

Donald Trump’s bodyguard Keith Schiller abruptly resigns; major Trump-Russia bombshell forthcoming

In perhaps Donald Trump’s ultimate act of cronyism and paranoia, when he first got into the White House he hired his own longtime personal bodyguard Keith Schiller to help oversee White House security.

In an even more surreal move, he sent Schiller to hand deliver a letter to FBI Director James Comey’s empty office to inform him of his firing. Now that word has leaked that there were two different versions of that letter and that Robert Mueller has both versions, Schiller has abruptly resigned.

Going back to the late 1980's Trump's bid to operate a casino in Sydney, Australia was denied as the Australian background checks identified business transactions with US based mafia. For whatever reason info did not stop his activities in the US and elsewhere. One can now assume with a degree of certainty the current investigations will uncover sufficient evidence of criminality to upset Trump's apple cart.

Putin bought Trump? Wow, that was a mainstream media puppet response if I ever read one. So how exactly did Putin buy this billionaire? And what exact crime did Trump commit? Hillary lost, get over it already. You guys going to whine for four years?

We can but hope, but I'm not banking on it.

Having said that, I do have to think would I prefer the dysfunction of Trump, or the uber right ring, somewhat more rational, and likely to actually get stuff done, Pence

Check in later. There is definitely serious dirt coming about the trump-Russia connection. Serious enough for impeachment? TBD.

Why not post it now? No one seems to be able to produce any evidence for what they accuse of. Was it a funding issue? You know, like how all the middle eastern countries gave money to the Clinton Foundation?

Take your what about-ism somewhere else. It's tedious, it's stupid, and it's OFF TOPIC.

You won't produce anything to back up your statement. All I'm asking is something to support your accusation. I'm open to discussion.

There are active investigations. We shall see. There is plenty of smoke. Anyone following this knows that already.

Even if a clearly impeachable offense is uncovered, that still doesn't mean that the clown potus WILL be impeached.

That's more of a political decision than a legal one.
Very unlikely before 2018 even with smoking guns.

What crimes were committed? Simple question based on your accusation. But you cannot cite any crimes you are accusing him of? If there are so many, it should be easy cite a few. How can you say someone committed a crime but you don't know what crime they committed? These vague "where there's smoke...." statements are MSM propaganda fluff.

By Secretary Clinton?

Or her husband?

None.

I'm perplexed as to why you posted a video regarding Sec. Clinton on a Trump thread.

Naa, just kidding.

It's the well worn, ancient, pitiful deflection of: but, but, but Hillary when ya got nothin' else.

As for the serious investigations in progress regarding the occupier of the White House,

I submit, you are simply, woefully uninformed. Perhaps, by choice.

(Spoiler alert: plenty of information on this very thread.)

Stay tuned, the wheels of justice are turning...

Complete garbage.

and NOT complete garbage.................Ivanka Trump takes 100 M USD from Saudi and UAE

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/ivanka-trump-fund-takes-100m-saudi-arabia-uae-article-1.3183690

This thread is nothing to do with Clinton and anything Clinton has done is not an excuse for the orange crook. Trump has more dirt than the New York City garbage dump land fill and it will all come out. I predict he will end up doing the perp walk within 18 months. Bernie Madoff will be cleaning out the cell next to him right now for Trump's arrival.

When the courts try him and find him guilty for mafia money connections, grand fraud, tax evasion and money laundering on an international scale will you say 'jail him' or 'but Clinton had his sperm on an interns dress and nothing happened to him'? Clintons peers including the entire Republican membership of both houses chose NOT to impeach. The investigations in to  HR Clintons emails led by Republican committee's found NOTHING in either the email case or Benghazi despite 4 investigations and more money spent on those investigations than into 9/11. Are we saying the Republican led investigations were led by incompetent fools? Should Trey Gowdy be unceremoniously sacked from Government for culpable negligence? Or was there NOTHING THERE? you can't have it both ways.

Quit with the Clinton talk AND Obama talk. Trump wanted the Presidency and from now on he is responsible AND accountable for HIS OWN actions, both present and past.

Lock him up!

Accusations but fails to support them. The Clinton reference was an example. No one can provide anything about these accusations. I'm open to hearing it. Uniformed? NO, I'm asking for someone to provide a simple detail. But speaking of deflection, nice attempt to attack me personally. That is propaganda 101. A basic, amateur tactic we learn in week one. BTW, I'm a former government employee and left because the corruption was getting too deep and unavoidable. I lived behind the curtain for years. So, your accusation is unfounded and entirely inaccurate.

How an obstruction of justice case may be shaping up against Trump

"Two of the most intriguing questions in US national political discourse – what does the special counsel Robert Mueller have on Donald Trump, and what more is he looking for? – were filled in at a remarkable pace this week, as details of highly sensitive documents and internal Trump Organization emails became public for the first time."

"Taken together, the documents could indicate that the special counsel is looking seriously at whether Trump committed an obstruction of justice on potentially various fronts, legal experts say."

"Certain additional documents whose existence was revealed for the first time – meeting notes taken by the former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, and a letter of intent reportedly signed by Trump to build a tower in Moscow – seemed to undercut previous statements by the president, his son and others about relationships now under the scrutiny of Mueller’s team."
