I've got a few friends now that are hooked up or married to ex-prostitutes. And to a man you get the excuse "she only worked in the bar one night" or "she worked in the bar but she wasn't a bar girl." I even heard the story of one knobend that married a hooker from Spotlight in Chiang Mai, but allegedly she was "the receptionist." So gents, cards on the table....

I can relate, a friend of mine married a girl I suspected to be a hooker, even he always said she was a hairdresser.

All of her friends were "working" on places like bossy or shock.. and she was saying that she likes to party there for the music and never been working .. I find it hard to believe, never seen a "normal" Thai girl enjoying those clubs.

Point is there's a certain shame in admitting you've picked an ex-prostitute as a wife, but it's understandable as many of us, including me, are kind of judgemental about it.

I guess being an ex-prostitute doesn't make her less of a woman and he seems happy with that, so none of my business

On the flip side, would a hooker tell their mates they married a fat, much older farang who couldn't get laid in his own country to someone as pretty? Works both ways doesn't it?

Why keep rabbiting on about marrying hookers?

Every woman in the world who gets married is only the same as a hooker.

Selling herself for gain, not only monetary gain but gain nonethe less.
