SONGKHLA: -- Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha let his hair down and surprised vendors at an organic products market inside the Prince of Songkla University campus with a “chicken dance” during his one-day visit to Songkhla province on Wednesday.

Other than his brief fling with dancing, Prayut’s trip to the deep South province focused on serious issues, especially the government’s Thailand 4.0 steering plan in the southern region and development funds and transformation loans to 30 local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Songkhla is one of eight model provinces under the SME funding scheme following the government-branded Pracha Rath, or cooperation among governmental, private and civil society sectors.

Glorious! Even though Uncle is single-handedly carrying the entire country forward on his shoulders, he still finds the opportunity to reach down and touch the proles; bestowing limitless happiness on the lowly, common people who so rightfully worship him. Words fail…the man is a god!

Having an adoring crowd keeps him grounded, and his grumpiness to a minimum.

He wants everyone to appreciate the "sacrifices" he's making.

Sounds like another politician ah Donald whats his name.

Songkhla needs a new monument built on that spot. Better make that a victory monument.
