Am I the only one who missed when they brought him to justice?

Who said he has been brought to justice? ...confusing your tenses?

...& the family of the cop who died and the countries who allow him to evade justice.

There are many parties to blame, not just the Thai police/gov.

However, the Thai police/gov have done more than any party involved to bring him to justice.

That is their job and lets be honest, they have done very little to bring him to justice.

Having said that Thai justice isn't the same as Western justice. The family got paid off so they are happy.

And at the end of the day that's all that matters.

All they have to do is say the word. Other countries aren't at fault. The Thai government can say the word.

They wont say the word because they have no interest in bringing him to justice. 5 years of nothing tells you that.

15 years more before the statutes run out. He will stay in a luxury villa and let the clock run.

Honestly I don't think anybody here would volunteer to go to a Thai prison if we could avoid it. I know I would cry like a little girl and avoid it at all costs.

I mean many of us here can't even take the hardships back home in our nanny states. We would probably go somewhere else if we had a billion dollars. Could somebody give me a reason why boss should turn himself in?

The family are not the only thing that matters, the Thai public are not happy how it was handled......& at the end of the day it was a public servant who was killed so it's not exactly straight forward, the fact the family are "happy" just complicates things, can we even be sure the family are happy and they weren't just intimidated into taking the money to settle the matter?

public servant=corrupt cop

Corrupt or not, he didn't deserve to get run over by a drunk driver, the individual is unimportant its more about the uniform.....western countries incl. the UK make the same distinction.

People say the Thai police/gov have done very little but in actual fact they've done enough to cause a member of one of Thailand's most powerful families to go on the run(over a non political matter), also causing the Red Bull family a huge loss of face ...maybe for a falang it's hard to understand and  doesn't seem like much but in the context of Thai culture it's ground breaking and nothing short of a miracle, especially when the Red Bull family have already paid out which would normally settle the matter.

It doesn't seem to matter here. But let's not get over zealous praising a man in uniform that most likely didn't enforce anything other than bribes.

Where did I praise a man in uniform? ...please retract your false assertion and refrain from strawman replies.

& where is your evidence he was corrupt?

Nobody cares because he only ran over some stupid cop. Had he run ever a  baby it would be different. There isn't a lot of respect for cops here.

Where is the cops evidence he got ran over as long as we are asking. The longer boss goes the less there is.

Nobody cares? ....the Thai public want justice, and the perpetrator is on the run even though he is protected by one of the richest and most powerful families in Thailand, so your point doesn't really stand up to the facts.

Research it, he already admitted what he did, made his excuses for fleeing the scene and paid out to the family.

The Thai public wants Facebook. They don't demand much and this isn't what the netizens post about daily. This is something I believe only farang care about.

We went through this already before he has not been convicted

If no one cares can you explain why he is on the run?

Please try to keep up with yourself, you asked me about evidence not about convictions

Answer my question and stop deflecting with nonsense posts....

He only stands accused and as far as I can tell a free man who can go where he wants

I hope Thailand issues the warrant but it isn't the duty of foreign jurisdictions to do their job. They haven't even issued a warrant.

Then you cant tell very much ...as he refused to attend court which in itself is breaking Thai law.

They have done nothing but make themselves look stupid. Do you believe any Thai person really thinks he will end up in jail.

The Red Bull family have lost what exactly ? Boss is flying all over the world getting VIP treatment at each and every grand prix.
