Snout for Clout: Thai man offers 100 pig heads to spirit for career success

NAKHON SI THAMMARAT: -- A Nakhon Si Thammarat real estate agent made an offering of 100 pig heads and 999 eggs yesterday at the sacred shrine of “Tuad Pu Chee,” since he believes that the shrine’s supernatural powers helped him succeed at his job.

 

Rathapat Panman, 40, and his mother Hieng, 84, led over 50 villagers in a traditional procession where they danced to live drummers.

 

Rathapat said he took an oath at the Tuad Pu Chee shrine (or “Great Grandfather Chee” in English) promising that, if he succeeded at his new job, he would return with an offering of 100 pig heads and 100 eggs.

I only can shake my head in bewilderment and disgust.

 

A lot of people in this country are stuck in the deepest dark ages.

And just because some people will not eat at all or eat pig, then all will have to stop talk about it and take pictures.

Is it same when all the people in southern Thailand say they not want any more bombs and terror. Does those people stop?

Next time you can try to come up with something of value, instead of just getting hungry during ramadan when you see a pig head.

Is this a muslim country?

I ring the bell 10 times and did some dancing too but so far no luck in the lottery maybe I should do it 100 times.

If I were his boss, I would have just found a reason to fire him.

Big mistake,,, he got the eggs right but one too many heads

...and then he was killed by an infection do to warm, rotten, bacteria and virus laden blood from the pics heads.  Oh well, it was meant to be
