How to reinstall Kodi Jarvis

Because of recent problems with Kodi add ons not working properly I did a complete factory reset on my AIS playbox. It's working again, but now I've lost Kodi completely  - it isn't in the preloaded apps, and is not currently available for download in the playstore. When I go to kodi.tv/downloads I can only get the latest version (17.3) which is incompatible with the playbox (Android 4.4 so, I think I need Kodi Jarvis 16.1). Any ideas where I can download the apk, the links to older versions on the kodi website don't seem to be working and redirect me to the newest version. .

Thanks - couldn't get 16.1 to work but will try 16.0
