Police investigating the murder of Novice Pleum at a Nakorn Sri Thammarat temple have said that 400,000 baht was removed from the account of one of the four suspects.

Police had been unable to freeze the account as the investigation is still ongoing.

An unnamed person took out the money from the account of Piyachat or Jae Biw one of the four suspects. The withdrawal was made between 2nd-5th of June by a person saying they needed it for "household expenses".

Novice Pleum, 17, was found buried under a Buddhist shrine at the temple of Wat Wang Tawan Tok last week. Piyachat and three men called Denchai, Suriya (a novice monk) and Benz are suspected of murder.

The investigation also involves irregularities connected to the renting of 89 residential units at the temple.

That's what worries me about keeping money in a Thai bank; everything!
