24-year-old man found hanged in train’s coach at Hua Lamphong

BANGKOK: -- A 24-year-old man was found hanged inside a compartment of train at Bangkok Railway Station on Wednesday morning.

 

Pol Captain Natdanai Loiklung, a deputy inspector at the Noppawong Police Station, said the man was identified as Danunan Sihanad.

 

Danunan was found hanging by a green nylon water hose inside a toilet that is used by Asia Cleaning Service to store cleaning equipment. The company has a contract to clean train coaches.

 

Natdanai said the man had Bt300 in cash and a driver’s licence with him.

 

The coach was parked on the 12th platform on Tuesday night and pulled to the first platform the following morning to be cleaned. A maid found the body.

 

Natdanai said the man appeared to have died 10 hours before his body was found. There were no traces of foul play in the coach. 

 

The body was sent for an autopsy at the Police Hospital.
