Many expats have sod all more than enough to stay, and some are killing themselves because they have nothing left.

You have enough to live comfortably on what you have anywhere in LOS, as long as you don't go mad or fall out with your wife.

Many of us would give an arm or leg for half of what you have.

The problem is that too many people come to Thailand, have a holiday, think it's heaven and can't work out the financial requirements to live in Thailand permanently. I still can't figure out what is enough for my wife and I to retire well. I've set myself a minimum target and an optimum one, but whether those figures are enough, who knows. Too many variables to consider, e.g. Health, housing costs, holidays overseas, helping family out in Aust and Thailand.
