BANGKOK: -- The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission on Monday imposed an administrative fine of 250,000 baht on Amarin TV for airing improper content regarding the body dismembering case during the Toop Toh Khao programme.

NBTC deputy secretary-general Pakdee Manawet said that the regulator found the footage in question might endanger the good morale of the people and was sexually provocative.

Earlier, Amarin TV was fined 50,000 baht for airing improper content.

I think Khun Pakdee is on his own in thinking body dismemberment was sexually provocative.

I don't want to see chopped up body or bodies - but it's real and news - grow up!!! that's allowed to show it - facts is facts

used to be dead people showed but if cigs or brand alcohol blurred out

I don't understand why they show some movies that half of scenes in whole are blurry. I can not see many things that are meant to be seen for understanding the story.

He said that? Has he seen the pictorial news Thai media regularly show? And was he concerned about their morale? Or their morals?
