And even if the false explanation about northern vs. southern hemisphere would be true it still wouldn't make a difference between Thailand and Europe

My wife is still trying to get her head around her legs showing in a public toilet in the US! This might just be too much for her!

Weeeeell, if I cannot explain what a crash helmet is for as the argument is it's just for 200bht BiB tea money thing  then the bath thingy is a no go area for me....

Nonsense ,Thailand is in the northern hemisphere,it will go the other way if you are in OZ or nz,not sure what happens if you are on the equator possibly it goes straight down without swirling.

just poke your finger down the hole and swirl it any direction you wish  WORLD WIDE

the plug hole is same as a cyclone 

south they turn clockwise 

in north turn anticlockwise 

i heard in pattaya the water does opposite 

it comes up the plughole in all directions

The real "nonsense" is the belief that it happens at all.  Read and educate yourself:

Here you can see how this trick works, filling the basin on the Lh or Rh side determines the way the water rotates.

we all know below the equator cyclones go clockwise 

above the equator they go anti clockwise the bath water is the same 

or maybe it depends on how you piss or fart as the water is  going out
