BANGKOK — A Korean man was found dead Monday morning after he fell into a condominium’s elevator shaft from the eighth floor.

 

The naked body of a Korean man was recovered at about 7:30am on the ground of an elevator shaft inside Aspire Sukhumvit 48 condominium.

South Korean tourist fights with girlfriend, falls to death down lift shaft

BANGKOK: -- A South Korean tourist quarrelled with his girlfriend before he fell to his death down the freight elevator shaft of a Bangkok condominium early Monday morning.

 

Pol Captain Palakorn Thanormphan was alerted to the incident at the 20-storey S Building of the Aspire Condo on Soi Sukhumvit 48 and he rushed to the scene with medics to find the naked body of Doo Ho Lee, 33, at the bottom of the lift shaft. He fell from the eighth floor.

 

Palakorn said the man and his South Korean girlfriend visited his compatriot friend at the condominium on Sunday.

 

Palakorn said the man returned to the condominium late Sunday night and was drunk and he had a quarrel with his girlfriend.

 

Following the dispute, the man damaged the toilet and left the condo naked before he used a fire extinguisher to knock open the door of the freight elevator on the eighth floor and fell to his death.

Very considerate of him to use elevator shaft for suicide rather than jumping onto sidewalk where might hit some innocent person

Tell me they're at least going to investigate the possibility he was beaten to death in the bathroom (where they found the damaged toilet- in many places that would be considered evidence of struggle) and his body dumped down the shaft...  

 

Just can't see a guy breaking into a public elevator butt naked- alcohol or no.

Obviously you have never spent any time in South Korea - total idiots when drunk, spent almost 4 years there when I was in the Army, they get wickedly drunk and do very stupid shi'ite.
