YASOTHON: -- A municipal school in Yasothon’s Mueang district will remain closed through Friday after 27 kindergarten pupils were diagnosed with hand, foot and mouth-disease (HFMD).

The play areas at Municipality 3 School were given a thorough cleaning on Tuesday to try and prevent the disease spreading.

A school manager said 27 kindergarten children fell ill with HFMD between June 12 and July 5. None are in severe danger, but classes have been temporarily cancelled.

According to the Yasothon Public Health Office, 303 children age five and under have been diagnosed with the disease since January.

Wow. Sounds like some anti bacterial soap is in order.

Not generally neccesary,  but that is a lot of cases. Might help.

Seems to happen every year.   How about

PREVENTION!!!   Educate the children and

their families....It's a school.  EDUCATE THE

TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATION.
