BANGKOK: -- A video of a Bangkok officer rescuing a cat stuck under a van made headlines in local media today as netizens praised the cop for his small-but-powerful heroic act.

The video, posted on Friday, shows officer Theerapong Kapjuntuk of Viphavadi Police, lying on the street, as he inserts his arm under a public van in an attempt to grab a small kitten that ran underneath.

Officer Theerapong told Coconuts that while his troop was setting up a checkpoint on Vibhavadi Road, they spotted the kitten in the middle of the street.

To me the picture looks more like a small dog....... Look at the nose and teeth...

But what ever it is I can't help notice the cops have on their 'clean air masks' to shield their identity while making traffic stops and collecting 'on the spot' fines...........

The Thai police are desperate for things that make them 'Look Good' in general (after all the negative publicity)........ LOL............

I like pussy also, so I would also 'rescue' one if needed.
