Skin itching at night ,is it pruritus?
Pruiritis is simply the medical trtm for itching. A symptom not a disease or cause. Is there any rash or bite marks? Any stuffy or runny nose or eye irritation? -

Australian Aged Pension
My private health provider in Australia restored my suspended insurance the week before I landed in Australia, after the COVID lockdown. They knew I had been overseas for more than two years. I pay the premium yearly. If the fund continued to accept premiums from me while denying me cover because I am not resident, that would be fraud. The health fund is a not-for-profit entity, maybe that is a factor. The subject of residency has never been raised with me by the health fund. Obviously, I am not going to start asking. -

Chinese man calls Thai women prostitutes sparking online outrage
China has businesses that the front is another business and there is a door that leads to the brothel in the back. So that is funny how blind the Chinese can be to what is happening in their own country. Just because it is not out in the open in China doesn't mean it is not going on around the country. -

Lampang dams overflow, residents urged to evacuate valuables
I stand corrected as far as there are people that can get insurance for their houses. I'm just aware of the higher price and the reluctance of some companies to cover. Yes, I'm aware of the NFIP. I know a few that couldn't get covered by their insurance companies, but I'm guessing they didn't try the program and moved. It might get to be too much eventually with all the flooding that's been increasing and I still think it's very dumb to build in such an area, as history tends to repeat itself as far as flooding. Bangkok and New Orleans will continue to suffer because of greed and foolishness. -

I have a concern about the Xiaomi EV. They use aluminum electrical cables. I’ve had aluminum speaker cables fail through corrosion. -

Thailand digital wallet handout falls short: Woman gets only 4,000
The bank did not take interest on the loan? Taking 6000 sounds like no interest is taken so maybe the father should be grateful. Just saying... -

7-Eleven Introduces Convenient PromptPay QR Code Payments Nationwide
I'm cash guy at 7-11, as best way to break 1000 baht note. Needed for smaller vendors, as don't want to use up all the small notes paying with 1000 baht notes. One less transaction in my bank account makes things easier at visa extension time. My bank passbook usually has 12 or so deposits, and about 4 withdrawals for the whole year. Keeps the paperwork down ... save a tree ... -

Tipping Grab Food Delivery Driver
Interesting. I'll check that again on my next order. I do recall they don't offer a 30 option so it jumps from 20 to 40. So sometimes I'll do the 20 when paying online and if the service was exceptionally good like very long ride, rain, super quick etc. I'll give them an extra 20 on arrival. I could give an extra 10 but coins feel unseemly. Not judging you but I do think 10 total is really not good enough. On Grab you can choose a custom amount so I pay 25 or 30 which is paid after delivery unlike Panda. Occasionally the service is crap like they make two other deliveries before and the food is cold in which case I don't tip at all. I do wonder if the drivers have access to customer tipping records. If they do I would expect them to avoid non tippers. While I'm against tipping American style percentage of check in Thailand I still do very much appreciate how affordable delivery services are here in comparison and also that doing bike deliveries is hazardous and underpaid work. What's a luxury service there is much more widely accessible here. -

AIS fiber 2gb connection (symmetric fiber) came with a 1gbs port on the ONT! How to change?
TF is an engagement post lol . Anyways you are correct, even thought the router itself show "5400", it's an HFS11 from human with a 2.5gbps wan port. AFAIK all the lans are at 1gb only. Meaning, if I wanted to get rid of that POS, I would need to replace it with a PON box. I see it's possible to buy them on shopee, but I'm unsure what to do . Maybe you have some sort of advice. Thank you -

But it's not @georgegeorgia's thread and you know that since they have been here before, they are likely just seeking attention. Long since on my ignore list. So yours can seem like general advice, if not knowing the context used in your replying. -
