Are you seriously suggesting that Takei's comment means he is actually threatening some form of physical violence, maybe even assassination, against Trump?

If so; change your medication!

Yes.

It is obvious to all sane people that any threat in Takei's comment is about the political repercussions to Trump.

The LGBT community in your country (you are American, I assume) is large, obviously larger than you care for, and does wield considerable political power and influence.

Heel spurs are no laughing matter.  Having to surgically remove them isn't a joke either. I've had bone surgery before.  It is to be avoided.

I commended your ability to feel another's spa if—specifically the pain of one POTUS 45, Donald John Trump.

You are welcome.

They only wield "considerable" influence due to the coddling from the left.

I like to sleep with women.  Why is that information any more or less wanted than when it is a gay who wants to sleep with the same sex.  Who cares.  Just do it and leave the rest of us out of it.

I don't get any stickers from the teacher for my sexual orientation so why should we coddle gay people?

I too had heel spurs from playing too much racquetball. I never had surgery but mine cleared up over time.

Yup.

Exactly what I thought.

Just making stuff up.

Frantically...

Because they aren't treated like everyone else.  I have a preference, they have a preference so why does their preference become our business when mine does not?

LGBT people are only not treated the same as everyone else by bigots.

LGBT people's preferences only becomes your business because you, and your hero, have made it so.

Equal rights means equal rights for everyone; regardless of their race, colour, creed, sexual preference or sexual identity. Something you and your hero obviously believe.

You said earlier that no one has the right to serve their country by joining their country's armed forces; and maybe you are correct.

But only a bigot could say that someone should be denied doing so purely because of their sexual preference or identity.

Good point! You have a preference and your choice and your business.  They have a preference and that is their business so why should they be criticized for it or it restricting what career they choose?  They have as much right to their lifestyle as you do.  The only difference is the numbers.

Obama letting Transgenders into the military was a backdoor attempt at getting them medical benefits for sexual reassignment surgery. Just getting the American tax payer pick up the bills for transgenders.

Retired transgender Navy SEAL: Tell me to my face I’m not worthy of serving

"Let's meet face to face and you tell me I'm not worthy," Kristin Beck told Business Insider Wednesday, referring to Trump,

"Transgender doesn't matter. Do your service."

"Beck was a Navy SEAL for 20 years, serving with the elite Team 6, among others. She was deployed 13 times and served in Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan, according to Business Insider."

"She added that she doesn’t think it’s right for people in the military to defend liberty for only some Americans."

It's the Military-Medical complex, I tell you. Letting in impotent heterosexual men is also a backdoor to getting them viagra on the taxpayer dime. They fight wars so injured soldiers will need medical treatment at taxpayer expense. It all makes sense now.

But...but "backdoor" is such a polite way to be rude to "The Gays"

I love the The Gays (not in that way, mind you, *snicker*). That's why I strive to be polite.

Maybe the "wrong en" to you but many people are proud of their variety choices and share their adventures with everyone who will listen.  Maybe you have a rule book about what type of sex is acceptable and what isn't.  The rest of us tend to be less repressed than you seem to be.

Let's see now, where were we?

Ah yes:

They have no freedom to join the Armed Forces.  No one does.  Trump's duty is to the Constitution first and to "we the people."

Just because they don't like it, doesn't make it a right.

Joining the military is not a right.  If you think it is, show me where in the law it states this.

Having the choice to apply to the military should be a right for everyone but in Trump's warped mind he thinks differently.

This thread is certainly lively!

"Trump's duty is to the Constitution"

Then he should stop threatening the Press.

Stop supporting voter suppression efforts.

Stop threatening the independence of the Judiciary.

Respect Jeff Session's Recusal from the Russia investigation.

Stop demanding loyalty from people whose only loyalty should be to the law and the Constitution.

Tell your hero to do his duty to the constitution.

"I will fight for... your freedoms and beliefs." Said the occupier of the White house.

You're just spinning around in circles.

"we the people." All of them.

Your dear leader once again, completely reverses himself. No surprize there, I've lost count...

Ya got nothin'

BTW, your bone spurs?

Surgery or not?

Enquiring minds want to know.

Because you reversed yourself completely just like your dear leader.

Within hours.

The BBC are also mentioning that the US Military have spent $84million for treating erectile dysfunction in contrast to the spending on Transgender medical treatment, must be all those special forces :coffee1:

If you spent 4-6 operational tours in close quarter combat listening to the sound of artillery , seeing mates blown up, shot in the head or belly you would have erectile dysfunction as the MINIMUM of your problems. It is almost impossible to return home from that and live a normal life again. Not everyone gets erectile dysfunction or PTSD but a huge amount do.

Many Trump haters are just using this 'anti-Liberal' move as an excuse to complain and abuse Trump.

I will leave the debate with them to others who are doing very well.

In my view this is a correct decision by Trump (yet another).

Just like the idiotic liberal regulation passed by Obama allowing males in females toilets, the removal of the ban on Transgenders in the Military by Obama was liberal lunacy. The issue has nothing to do with discrimination, it is about not allowing certain people with certain  'issues' to serve in the Military. It is about many things from morale to costs, but it is not about the person. Being too short or too tall, having diabetes or skin disorders, flat feet etc. are just some of the many many reasons why some people are not allowed to serve.

IMO what happened is that the Generals (all) approached Mattis and asked him to withdraw the Obama rule because it was causing lots of problems and was getting serious. Mattis put a temporary ban and took the issue to Trump, and one month later he decided to remove the Obama regulation. Seems to me that was the right decision - and if any of the senior Generals comes out and states that he disagrees with Trump, I will stand corrected (extremely unlikely).

And therein lies the truth of the matter - Trump did what the military leaders wanted having assessed the issues, and Obama did what they didnt want and ignored their issues.  Trump IS the Commander-in-Chief and unlike Obama, he is very much in support of the USA military and what they stand for and what they do.

The list is below - it is not discrimination - it is rationale.

Funny then how the Pentagon knew nothing about it until Trump tweeted. You say 'all' the Generals approached Mattis, do you know how many Generals there are in the US Military? And if they 'all' approached Mattis how come the Pentagon spokesman said they knew nothing about it?

The cost of any transgender issues to the military - what was it 2.4-8.4 mill a year is going to be NOTHING compared to the class actions that will follow. The lawyers will be rubbing their hands together already. This decision will cost hundreds of millions to the military.
