A Facebook post had named and shamed the road saying that the missing covers presented a hazard for small vehicles. "Yingrak Yinglomlong" also claimed that a highways department building nearby was being used as a "drug den". The area concerned is near the Rangsit toll booth heading into the city. The highways department said the missing covers were not on the main part of the roadway and would be repaired within three days. In the meantime they put some cones out and promised to try and arrest the thief. Regarding the allegations about a nearby building being used for drug taking they agreed that it was a mess. It was a boarded up annex that was no longer used and they were doing their best to make sure no one got in there. Meanwhile they urged the public to report theft or law breaking on the highway by calling 1568 or 1193. Source: Krobkrua Kao -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2017-08-02
