Record-breaking 1.464 tonne haul of cocaine bound for Australia seized by French authorities

A massive cocaine haul bound for Australia stashed in the hull of a yacht has been intercepted by the French Navy in the South Pacific.

The record-breaking 1.464 tonnes of cocaine was seized near New Caledonia on July 27 with four crew arrested who are believed to be Lithuanian and Latvian, the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission said.

ACIC officials worked closely with French authorities to foil the plot, which is believed to have been organised by a South American crime syndicate.

And that's before it is cut. I very much doubt any Sydney gram buyer gets pure coke, what he actually puts up his nose is anybody's guess.

Does France have the death penalty for drug trafficking?

No, since  septembre 18  - 1981

You missed the decimal point. :)

It seems you don't know about 2 international standards, writing decimal points.

The green ones use a point !  1.464.000,00  kg  or  1,464,00.00 kg is okay

Both your answers look like gibberish to me. 1.464t = 1,464kg   Why would you want to add extra zeros, commas and points?

You are wright.

As written in the OP:     1.464t = 1,464kg      or   1,464t = 1.464 kg (in the green countries).

Australia is becoming a drug f000ckek country.

But then again, the drug f00000cked are total losers.

So, in the end, who gives a rats. Losers are losers.

Australia has many winners and losers.

It is a lifestyle choice. Winners win and losers lose.

Are you taking writing lessons from Trump or was this supposed to be a tweet?

Yup i don't know the 2 standards and which one we should use in Thailand. Very confusing, just like the metric or american ways of measuring or the pound/lbs stuff. Then the Brits also have their own stones for weight and i just gave up on all those systems, only metric and european is what counts for me.

If it was 1464 tons i would be impressed by this catch but 1500 kg isn't a record i would think..

I don't give a rats about any country other than Australia.

So you love drugs. Thats ok but it makes you sick..

Each to their own.

If you think that meth addiction is oh so cool, you should look and relate to what is washed up on the shore.

Out of curiosity, then why do you live in Thailand and regularly comment on politics and events elsewhere in the world?
