I arrived in Bangkok a few days ago and I'm really eager to try one of my favorite dishes at a good Chinese restaurant.

 

Does anyone know a place that does sweet and sour chicken where they lightly fry the chicken like this: http://i.imgur.com/Lon3YZ9.jpg

 

I've looked on TripAdvisor, but there are 400 Chinese restaurants in Bangkok and it's just too overwhelming. I've also found that the places highly rated on that site never live up to the hype.

 

Also love crispy duck and prawn toast, so if the restaurant does those good too then it's a bonus.

From the dishes you mention, I presume by Chinese restaurant you mean a UK-style Chinese restaurant.  Very dependable for this style of food is the Four Seasons chain.  I always go to the Mega Bangna branch when I visit IKEA.  There are also branches in EmQuartier and Siam Paragon.
