Explosion In Chiang Mai

Yesterday afternoon my local radio station, through the loudspeakers scattered all over the villlage, announced an explosion at Tesco Lotus (Hang Dong) with at least six people dead.

So I called a friend living in the area. He hadn't heard any explosion but at the grocery, his niece heard a Farang talking about a blast (she didn't understand where) and 3 people dead.

But no explosion whatsoever was mentioned at the evening and morning news on the different TV channels. There's nothing on the Internet.

Does anyone know anything ?
