50,000 baht stolen. Should I call the police?
Let presume for a second that this post is real. You showed her you had 50,000 THB, almost 2,000 USD. Wow! And it seems you wanted to impress her with that huge amount of money, correct? I think I have an idea why she finished with you...

Energy scam shock: 20 duped by bogus clean energy company
Are you sure for all of them it was hard-earned cash? Maybe some corrupt people thought about whitewashing their ill-gotten money. But luckily there is no corruption in Thailand. Anybody with cash earned that the hard way, sure!

Maybe she wanted someone to prepare fresh coffee?

This is my America sadly
I don't support anybody. I only see a bad and an extreme bad option. But then, I am not an American and I don't understand how they think. As far as I know is Harris not for open borders. And she is able to say a couple of sentences without giggling. Where does your information come from? Truth Social, or some MAGA facebook group?

The World's Greatest Troll- I give you Trump

Arnold Schwarzenegger Endorses Kamala Harris and Tim Walz: "I Will Always Be an American Before I Am a Republican" That makes a lot of sense.

Expat By Choice - But Why Are You Here?
Many years ago, I wasn't very happy back home in Europe. Too cold, too many ugly women, too many old people. I decided I want to live somewhere warm with lots of pretty girls. Thailand and Brazil came to my mind. I learned a little about Brazil and it seemed to have lots of downsides. I made two times holiday in Thailand; I liked it a lot. And I learned about the economy and more. Mostly good, not much bad. And then I moved to Thailand. Was it a one-way trip? Yes, I planned it as a one-way trip. But I was realistic enough go know there was no guarantee that all would be fine. I didn't shut all the doors behind me. If I would have returned a couple of months or a year later that would have been ok. Like: I tried. But at the end it was a one-way trip. I returned "home" only once after a few months and then no return for >20 years. The alternative:

It seems she talks mostly in full sentences. Trump has problem with that. But maybe he doesn't even try because his voters wouldn't be able to follow the details.

Election Commission Reviews Allegation of Thaksin's Influence Over Pheu Thai
Guilty as charged. Dissolve the party of the criminal and make sure he goes home to play with his grandchildren. And if he violates the law again, lock him up. And not let's wait what will happen in the real world of Thailand.

Thailand's PM Paetongtarn Tackles PM2.5 Pollution Crisis
I am not even sure if they receive payments. I am sure the big landlords would not appreciate if their business model would be challenged by politicians, and for such "trivial reasons" like the environment. And then I am sure those landlords would find other politicians who understand them better...

Bangkok cheaper than Jomtien
Thank you for your insider knowledge. You should consider starting a YouTube channel to spread your knowledge even more.

Leasing a condo which is also for sale being offered by Agent
I don't think there are any real guarantees. Having said that, it seems to be normal that many people advertise for sale or rent at the same time. In other words, "I need money". Some also have unrealistic expectations about a possible sales price. Or maybe they play the game: If someone is so stupid to buy it for this elevated price, then I am happy to sell. All in all, I think, don't worry.

And then? Will they open the ski season?

The wife wants another baby. I don't think its a good idea.
Hearsay. I had a lot of sex in my life but no babies - at least I don't know about any of them. And I didn't ask any parents if they had sex before they had children.

Thailand's PM Paetongtarn Tackles PM2.5 Pollution Crisis
Where do you think the votes come from? The influential people tell the not so influential people who to vote for. Thaksin is where he is because he made sure that lots of influential people (like rice millers) support him.

Do you drink drive?
I think another interesting topic would be: Under which condition would you still drive if you would be sure the police wouldn't fine you. It seems many here wouldn't drive drunk because they don't want to pay or get arrested. How many would drink and drive if they knew that won't happen?

Steak should be cooked with garlic melted into butter.
Really? As far as I know you are correct in theory. I remember seeing a YouTube video with some chefs. They made steaks in different types of pans and then the chefs should judge, just by the taste of it, which steak was made in which pan. They failed! And, as far as I remember, their choice of best steak was made in a stainless-steel pan...

Thailand's PM Paetongtarn Tackles PM2.5 Pollution Crisis
I think she, and even her father, don't have the power to stop the air pollution. Obviously, they could issue big fines, but who would they hurt with that? I think they would hurt the influential people who now support them. Would they want to risk that support? I don't think so.

Jeff Bezos on the public's trust in main-stream media & the decision not to endorse Harris
I think he has the attitude that he can do whatever he wants, and he does whatever he wants. Will it hurt his business? Does he care? I am sure many shareholders will care, but Musk doesn't really have to worry even if he would lose 99% of his wealth.

Jeff Bezos on the public's trust in main-stream media & the decision not to endorse Harris
I don't follow any of them in detail. But it seems to me it is bad for business to alienate half of America. I am sure lots of people won't buy any Tesla (anymore) because of his support for Trump. And fill any Trump supporters buy a Tesla only because he supports Trump? I have my doubts. Bezos lets everybody buy and does not alienate anyone. The smarter option.

Best ideas for dates in Bangkok
I just asked AI to write a summary: Day 1: Arrival Took BTS to Silom but found a taxi would be better next time due to walking in the heat. Stayed in Silom to minimize travel times between appointments with different people. Arranged to meet Miki, an Isaan student, at the hotel, but she got into a family dispute and couldn't come. Day 2: Miki shows up Met Miki at Imperial World Samrong after a long text exchange. Went to a fair in Samrong, which was extremely crowded and hot. Returned to the hotel after, where Miki was impressed by the Premier suite. Had a memorable night together. Day 3: Snoopy arrives Met Snoopy, a 7-11 worker, at the hotel. Spent the day together, mostly in bed, and went for dinner. Snoopy found out you'd arrived in Bangkok earlier than she thought, causing her to get upset and leave. Day 4: Exploring Bangkok Explored Bangkok as plans with a Filipina fell through. Had lunch at Din Tai Fung and did some sightseeing. Despite some hiccups, the trip was enjoyable and the budget stayed reasonable. The main takeaway: Bangkok is filled with stunning experiences and interesting people, but always be cautious about personal details.

Over 50 and Feeling the Frustration
There is a big difference between not being so horny anymore, and not being able to perform. I am not as horny as I was when I was younger, and I think overall that is good news. Many years ago, very horny, I needed to find some girl for the night. And more than one time I found one which did the job, but I wouldn't exactly introduce her to my friends. Now, if I see a sexy girl and I get horny, fine, let's do it. And if I don't see any girl like that, then it's also no problem. Let's go to sleep, fine. And I think the performance depends a lot on what's on offer. I am sure with many ugly women I would not be able to perform. No problem, I don't want to f#$# ugly women. Pretty cute girls still make me horny and the performance with the right girl is just fine.

How long can you stand on 1 leg reflects your age
I have two legs, and I use two legs. It's like: how long can I perform a handstand? I don't know, I don't need that in my life.

Why Do Older Expats Hate Younger Expats?
Not even one minute into the video, he asks for money. That is one of the things many people hate about those YouTubers who want money and fame. I like to watch interesting YouTube videos, and when I like them, I click on Like and maybe I subscribe - after I saw the video. What's the point of telling people to do that when they didn't see anything yet? And we older guys are not so stupid to see no differences. And in many cases, we don't want to be like these younger guys, sitting for hours in a coffee shop, demanding power and WiFi, and drinking a cup of coffee over two hours. No, thank you. I am different.
