Totally agree I lived and worked in the Netherlands for a few years I never heard of any issues with the weed cafes and although I don’t participate in it I used to frequent the cafes as one of my friends enjoyed the odd spliff

I can see a law suite being brought by disgruntled weed shop owners against the government why did they issue 11,000 + licenses I think my friend paid 6,000 baht for one year plus the cost of setting the shop up plus long term rental agreements with Landlords if successful in a court of law it could cost the government millions in compensation

The report states up to 12.000 businesses could be forced to close I suggest it’s double that figure will the government compensate them for the loss of their capital investment as well as future income loss somehow I doubt it . By introducing these new requirements I can see like gambling that the supply and demand will be done in dark rooms .Having said all that we could be looking at a new PM in the next few days / weeks so the laws could be thrown out or delayed even further
