Too Many Adverts Now.
Most forums have, indeed need rules to prevent threads descending into chaos. Many threads on here turn to name calling and worse. So rules are needed. Updating maybe, but certainly needed.

My marriage is heading south. Dont know what to do.
Just a suggestion: Is there a Kumon Maths Centre near you? Maybe you could both try and go 50-50. Meet in the middle. Take you child out of the high pressure school maths program and enroll him in a Kumon Maths course where they would still get some homework, but not too much. That might keep the wife happy while reducing the workload on the child. GF's daughter does 2 x 1hr lessons per week after school. Gets some homework, but nothing lke you are describing. She is way in front of her classmates in maths. Many international school kids go there after school. I drop her off, then go and have a coffee until she has finished, so it does take some of my time, but it is paying off.

Induction cookers and frying pans?
Are you only using plastic or wooden utensils with the non stick pan? Using steel one can quickly scratch off the coating. I even had that happen with a non stick Le Creuset milk saucepan and that wasn't cheap. Had to throw it away. So it can happen to even the best quality ones. Now I use a wooden or plastic spatula with my non stick pots and pans.

Thai Mobile Banking Apps Crash On Payday, Transfers Put Off
There will be data collected on everything an individual both earns and spends. From medical bills and what medicines they buy, (no more privacy there), to everywhere you go, The governments, insurance companies and banks must be rubbing their hands with glee at this. Total control os the populace by controlling their ability to earn or spend if they step out of line.

SCB ending SCB Easy Net internet banking.
Can you use the SCB Easy Net online banking for now? They aren't shutting it down until the 14th. What with banks going to app only banking and the government pushing digital baht, it looks like the public's control of their own money will soon be taken away.

Insect Warning.....Kill them, Kill them........NOW
German cockroach and American cockroach are the two species most commonly found in Thailand. The German variety is the most likely to invade your condo, and the larger American type is the one you'll see scurrying out of a drain and across the street.

Not necessarily. My Bitkub app stopped working the other day after updating. Had to wait a couple of days for another update to fix it.

Insect Warning.....Kill them, Kill them........NOW
You might be better putting poison down for them rather than just spraying them on sight. Non toxic version: Buy some borax powder, mix with sugar and honey in hot water (20% borax). Leave for a few days around the house in bottle tops where you find the bugs. Works great for ants as well. You can order Borax powder from Chemipan. You might find more info. in follopwing link even if you say not roaches.: https://aseannow.com/topic/919095-best-way-to-get-rid-of-cockroaches/

Insect Warning.....Kill them, Kill them........NOW
Type of Cockroach? Maybe German Cockroach? You can buy killer. Looks like a disc about 50mm in diameter. Used to sell in Lotus. But if bad infestation, you might be better getting a professional exterminator in such as Rentokil

Thailand forcing Cashless Society
I received an email from Bitkub the other day. It was about learning more about the possible future introduction of CBDC. (Central Bank Digital Coin) or Digital Baht. i can't find the full article in English, but here is a couple of paragraphs: Dear Valued Customer, Bitkub Exchange presents you to get to know digital currency called CBDC, also known as Central Bank Digital Currency, which refers to a digital currency issued by a central bank. In Thailand, the Bank of Thailand is currently developing the "Digital Baht". CBDC, or Central Bank Digital Currency, is built on blockchain technology in many countries. It aims to increase transparency, and verifiability, and enable convenient and fast transactions. CBDC can be used as a medium of payment for goods and services, as it possesses a fixed value and can be legally used to settle debts. Thailand is one of the first countries to start studying and developing CBDCs under the name known as "Digital Baht" and started trials with sample groups and 3 major banks in the country, namely Bank of Ayudhya, Siam Commercial Bank, and 2C2P (Thailand) Co., Ltd. started from the end of 2022 until the middle of 2023. How are CBDCs different from cryptocurrencies? Will they affect the crypto market? Find out more in this article.

Something to consider; Even if you succeed in paying the money into her account, if she doesn't know where it came from, she might refuse to touch it. moogradod's suggestion of putting it in an envelope sounds a better idea.

American YouTuber critisised for hiring 50 Thai police to play game with him
Seems like he never learns. There was the outcry about him crushing coins with the monarch's face on them, and wasn't he the one that took the p*** out of Thais when they didn't understand what he was saying? Got to keep those viewing figures up.

SCB ending SCB Easy Net internet banking.
I received an email from SCB yesterday saying they will stop the SCB EasyNet internet banking service from 14th July. To be clear, this is internet banking via computer. Only mobile internet banking via the phone app will be possible in future as it is apparently more secure. A bit of a bummer as I prefer to do my banking on the larger screen of my computer.
