Here is Silom in a nutshell Thaniya (japanese PP) seems to be thriving although I see a lot of closed businesses and not sure all the clubs are open. PP2 with the grocery store is open and doing as well as it used to. However it is starting to have a very Ladyboy feel Patpong 1 as it was is dead. Safari is dead. I have a few friends there and go for a beer because it is quiet. (not a good sign for the street) The bars that are open are not doing well, and the street is dark. The schools blow smoke up their rectum telling them they passed and fudging the numbers. Then reality bites and they apply to top tier university and crash and burn. Schools need to be honest also teach students skills. Cooking make up electronics carpentry automotive. Give them a means of learning a trade or skill.

I live in pathum Thani and can tell you that it is definitely easier lifestyle than in Ontario. The only thing I miss is hockey and not the pro leagues. Have a few friends but zoom and fb keep us in contact.
