If you take that cover off, does it reveal that those are actually crimp-lugs on bolted terminals?? You will probably have to feed the wire through the hole before putting on the crimp.

Numbers for July. That "big" PEA import (about 160 Baht) was coz the grandkids were visiting and running all the A/C set to "arctic" coupled with some rather dull days running our batteries down. There's still about 6,900 Baht we didn't pay to PEA 🙂

Are you using the CT or an external RS-485 meter? The CTs are awfully inaccurate when it comes to setting zero import/export and seem to err on the side of import. Also, what have you got "Zero Export Power" set to? This sets a constant import from the grid to ensure that the occasional "blip" of export (possibly from the removal of large loads) doesn't actually cause an export. We just open the grid breaker unless we are going to need a top-up coz the Thai grandkids are here and using the A/C set to "arctic".

Yeah, we had a very similar conversation with our local PEA chap, but it was way back in 2019. Things seem to have changed now and I wouldn't recommend installing a system that spins the meter backwards unless you use a hybrid inverter that can run with or without batteries so you can add storage when (rather than if) you get an electronic meter.

Could you post an image of one of the lamps removed from the fitting please? If there are any markings those would be useful too. Are they LED, halogen, something else?

We have the Seplos BMS (well known for its chronic balancing system) along with the optional flying-capacitor balancer. It's definitely worth sanding the cell terminals and bus-bars before assembling and the zinc-loaded paste can't hurt.
