Crossy replied to Enquiry123's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yup, over 60 you get a "for life" card, same as the Thai ID card. -

Interesting, could you post a photo of the back of your card please? The wording is part of the card blank so maybe the government have taken delivery of a fresh batch. -

There's a whole thread on this https://aseannow.com/topic/1317368-thailand-starts-checking-foreigners-passports-on-domestic-flights The pink Non-Thai ID card and Thai driving licence are on the list of acceptable "alternative" documents. -

Yeah ^^^. It ranges between "piece of cake", through "absolute nightmare", to "totally impossible". Best bet is to trot over to your local ampur office, you will need a Thai speaker, to find out exactly what they need.- 454 replies

I don't know if it's a standard, but when we built our place, the contractor was rigorous about checking the delivery paperwork for each truck. Of course, without a weighbridge one would have to trust the paperwork!

Crossy replied to notrub's topic in Don Mueang Airport Forum
All you need to know about DMK parking https://donmueanginternationalairport.com/don-mueang-airport-parking/ 250Baht a day. Why not fly down from Isaan, it may prove cheaper? -
American Samoa apparently has the most expensive internet in the known universe. The whole country has an international bandwidth of 200Gbs which may cramp your posting style somewhat.
-
Sounds like a plan (for you), you could start "AmericanSamoaVisa.com".

Here are two notable examples: EDIT To note that this information is from Bard AI 1. Sonnenfabrik Herzberg in Germany: Opened in 2019, Sonnenfabrik Herzberg is the world's first industrial facility to produce solar panels entirely with its own renewable energy. The plant boasts a massive 53,000 square meter rooftop covered in solar panels, generating 12.5 megawatts of power, enough to meet its entire energy needs. On sunny days, the plant even produces a surplus of electricity, which is fed back into the grid. 2. REC Silicon's Moses Lake plant in Washington, USA: While not entirely self-powered yet, REC Silicon's Moses Lake facility is transitioning to be powered by 100% clean hydropower from the Columbia River. Opens in a new windowwww.pv-tech.org REC Silicon's Moses Lake solar panel manufacturing plant in Washington, USA This shift will significantly reduce the plant's carbon footprint and make it one of the most sustainable silicon producers globally. The plant is already a major player in the solar industry, supplying polysilicon, a key material for solar cells, to leading panel manufacturers worldwide.

I don't know that car, but conventional wisdom puts the blame on a stuck thermostat. When I was, er, younger, replacing the thermostat was two or three bolts (ok probably seized) and needed a new gasket (and thermostat). Has to be a cheap test (I've long since outgrown boiling the thermostat to test it).
