  1. Thanks for that. It was the first good laugh of the day. Until I read that the powers that blame the lack of law enforcement as the cause of traffic accidents. I'm still laughing. Thanks Jethro.
  2. Insufficient enforcement of traffic laws? Is this news? Just recently I made a five hour road trip and did not see one police patrol vehicle, but many traffic law violators. Nothing will change until the police get a grip of enforcing the existing laws. Without enforcement, laws are useless. But, TIT. Mai ben rai.
  3. When this was announced I had the same feelings when Joe Louis, my idol, went into professional wrestling. Very sad. I was sad to see a man who was a master of his sport reduced to acting and becoming a spectacle. But in those days no doubt, Joe needed the money. But maybe boxers are like some politicians. They don't know when to throw the towel in.

  5. Couldn't swim!? I made a point of teaching my Thai nephews and nieces to swim at an early age. A Degree in anything is useless if you are in deep water and can't swim.
  6. I lost my first wife to cancer in 1982. My present Thai wife of thirty-seven years has recovered remarkably well from breast cancer and the treatment she received from Thai government hospitals. She is now leading a normal everyday life. I have great respect for the medical profession here in Thailand and it seems the treatment for cancer has improved remarkably. My wife didn't suffer the side effects from the treatment my first wife suffered from. For that, I am most grateful. Good health and long life.👍
  7. My comment was made in jest with good old British humour and not to be taken seriously. I would have thought that you were still not too old to remember what humour is. I wish you long life and good health. Laughter is the best tonic.
  8. I have lived for ninety-one years next month, despite the medical profession's best efforts.😉
  9. Ain't arf hot mum. The natives are revolting. Damned natives! 😉
  10. This reminds me of a workmate years ago referring to one of his friends. Who on release from prison, had an anus like half a Blood orange.😦
  11. Whatever his personal opinions, what happened to diplomacy? Having him as Foreign Minister is like getting a thick ear for nothing. What an ignorant man!
  12. It brings a whole new meaning to "If I'm over your way I'll drop in to see you."
  13. So can humans. Coughing and sneezing.
  14. I would suggest you get psychiatric help first. The same goes for those who believe this nonsense.
  15. There are many intents AN subscribers. They are good guys. Know the ropes and may offer intelligent advice. Unlike mine.😉
  16. But life is cheap. Dodgy cables and dodgy electricians make for a disaster. Mai ben rai.
  17. It's been done before. A Prayer Before Dawn.
  18. Gay or straight. It's the same. He has family although a bit iffy, but he would survive without you. But what about you? You're no spring chicken? Who will pay for your medical costs and look after you if you succumb to illness? Bite the bullet and head back to the States if you think you will be better off. Just my opinion.
  19. They should interest you. Even if you have no say. What he does will affect us Brits and the world. The UK has its own political problems with its dictatorial government already.
  20. Less hair? Comb your eyebrows back.😉 I'm 91 next month. Old age? I'm not looking forward to it.
  21. I went to an audiologist in NZ. When I asked her where she came frm she said, "I'm American but I tell people that I'm Canadian." This was after Trump's previous success.
  22. Mind your own business and give him time to get the 'feel' of the relationship.😉
  23. The USA voters have made their bed. Now they must lie on it, just as we in the UK have done, much to our regret.
