The local ISP 3BB say they have a problem . Thanks for your help
-
Just moved the Wizz TV box to another room with a different Ethernet cable and the service is working . However the Internet speeds are not good and I could not get Ookla or Race Speed tests to connect
-
This is strange . I have just done 4 speed tests with 3 companies and leaving my V.P.N. connected . test my.net Download = 59.5 upload 5.5 race Communications , Download = 148.8 Upload 71.4 Fast , Download = 190 Upload = 110 Ookla , Download = 172.48 , Upload 78 All tests at the same time , what a variance . I am with 3BB and they use Fast.com for speed tests .

Thanks , I did a couple of tests , one with my VPN and one without . Not much difference but upload very low at 2 and 5 MBPS the download was 96 MBPS . I will visit my internet company today . I am paying for a V.I.P. service which guarantees no less than 200 MBPS , no matter how busy the Internet traffic is . Any idea why the upload is so low ? Wizz have told me that there has been damage to some sub sea internet cables by sabotage but that does not account for my service working one day but not the next .

Anyone having connection issues with Wizz TV . Keeps asking me to login but will not accept my details . However it came on last night , after resetting the router , when I opened the app but it is down again today . Normally no problems and a good service . My speed test has dropped from 200 Mbps to 76

So you have a good reason for wheelchair us . I have a spinal problem and normally have a wheelchair but flying tiger did not mention a physical problem and there are sometimes able bodied people who blag it to get a wheelchair because they are too lazy . That sometimes results in there being a shortage of wheelchairs and in turn a long wait . No different than fit people parking in a disabled parking bay . -

Most of us are not able to afford business class but normally the economy class and that is where the problems are caused at Suvarnabhumi . Immigration queues are often long and not enough immigration officers . I ask myself this , would it be possible to have Thai immigration officers onboard the long haul flight to Bangkok , 11 hours or so , to carry out immigration checks which would then allow uninterrupted passage to the carousels or transport on arrival ? Did you know that there is a " Fast Track " system for both arrivals and departures in Suvarnabhumi . Basic walking through the fast track lane costs around $66 or with an electric buggy $140 . These prices are for travellers who want the visa on arrival . For local Thais it is $ 35 and $112 . -

Very few smoke rooms in airports now . The middle east still have I believe but not nice without ventilation . The smoke rooms at Suvarnabhumi were nearly always occupied by airport workers which may have been the reason to close them . Strange that airports sell tobacco products but do not allow them to be used . -
So the movieprep did the job eventually ?

I am surprised its not working for you . Are you taking 1 sachet of A and 1 sachet of B and mixing them in 1 liter of warm water ? Drink 1 quarter of the 1 liter mix every 15 minutes . It normally works after 2 or 3 hours . You will have to repeat the same mixture drink on the morning of your colonoscopy . The colonoscopy will not be performed if the laxative has not worked , as told to me by my doctor . Also no eating anything once you have started to drink the movieprep . Good luck .

Me too . Had a colonoscopy and a gastroscopy 5 months ago in a UK NHS hospital both without sedation . The colonoscopy was not a problem , you just feel the probe inside your body but the gastroscopy was not good . Just a spray to the back of the mouth to give numbness but the probe had me heaving a few times . I would recommend sedation for the gastroscopy .The colonoscopy requires that you take laxatives one day prior to the procedure . My laxative was in the form of a powder that is mixed with warm water . Laxative name is Moviprep .I can warn you not to go out but stay near your toilet because you bowel movement is lots and sudden .

Thai VietJet cites safety reasons for refusing disabled passengers
superal replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I once sat next to 2 guys from London on an Eva Air flight , London to Bangkok . They were drinking the whole flight and walking up and down the aircraft . When we were about to land I asked them if they were capable of walking to immigration and they said no problem because we have a buggy booked and we have a false doctors note saying that I have sciatica . They passed me in their buggy with a " See you later mate " yell and chuckle . So as you say a note could be forged and fool the Thai authorities but if the medical note was shown in the UK with a formal letter showing the N.I. number and hospital number , then a check could be made prior to travel and stamped for other foreign airports to allow assistance . IMO wheelchairs should be booked at the time of booking a flight , a medical cert shown as previously mentioned , and not a free for all at airports.
