  1. We know men can fall in love at any age. The problem is with the women ...................... PS. Get her to sign a prenup on your home and pension.
  2. You can't take 6mg of Doxazosin from the get go ....... your body needs to get used to it until the dosage is enough to work. So they start you off on 2mg, then 2 weeks later 4mg, etc.
  3. 6mg Doxazosin every night (after 6 weeks acclimatisation with catheter). But I could wee directly the catheter was removed, and after 2 years I could start reducing the dosage without losing the ability to wee. Finasteride takes time to reduce the prostate size (if it works for you).
  4. Nearly 2 years ......... down to 1mg of Doxazosin + 5mg Finasteride every other night now.
  5. Decided I need some more battery storage. Another 16x 100ah batteries, Sinopoly green 100ah Ordered 8x from Lazada at 714bht+40bht post = 6032bht COD Ordered 8x from a LifePo4 Facebook group at 690bht free post = 5520bht (bank transfer) Ordered 150A Daly BMS (bluetooth + power bar) TJ Solar = 3464bht COD That should give me another 4kWhr of storage, totalling 10kWhr. Let's hope they turn up (and work). Thought about buying the Jikong (8s-20s) 150A BMS, but it was 100bht more than the Daly, didn't have connectors on the power cables, and needed a 9v battery to turn on, so I stuck with the Daly which is very easy to use.
  6. But then you let yourself in for the 'proof of life' problems. Easier to just say you live in the UK, then get the increases, no proof of life forms, no documents required and no long processing delays on claiming.
  7. Government hospital will vaccinate your newborn with or without your permission.
  8. I didn't notice any traffic congestion between the airport and Da Nang. In fact apart from the airport bus, there was hardly any traffic on the road.
  9. Come TEOTWAWKI I seriously doubt anyone will be making phones or printed circuitry. I'm putting my spare cash into solar cells/batteries and shelf stable foods.
  10. No documents 'relevant or not' were ever sent to my UK address after my claim. I had an email acknowledging my online claim the moment I completed it. Then an email from the HMRC telling me my tax code was reduced. The next event was the money appearing in my bank account.
  11. As I don't have a passport, it hardly matters.
  12. Easy........... I've never been outside the UK, why would I have a passport?
  13. I never filled in any forms, claimed online.
  14. Me too. But I also like Vietnam and Cambodia.
  15. I think it's a conspiracy by those that own everything to subjugate those who own nothing, and yet I generate most of my own power, and walk or ride a bicycle most of the time. What I find slightly odd, is that those who 'believe' usually do nothing except talk about how everyone else should change.
  16. I don't know why so many posters on this forum badmouth the Philippines. IMHO it's not much different to Thailand, and Filipino immigration is much more helpful and friendly.
  17. It's nice to sit outside and drink beer every day. Something you can't do often in the UK because of the weather. 10:53 ........ time for my second wine cooler of the day.
  18. Yeah, my bus from Manila used to stop there on the way to Olongapo. I preferred the beach at Barretto to the inland area of Angeles.
  19. Not by modern definitions. You could grow your food with the possibility of destroying the fertility of the land. You could burn coal and oil for as long as it lasted. I wonder how the UK will do without the Russian gas that powers it's power stations?
  20. I've never had a problem committing illegal acts. Once I drove my car at 35mph in a 30mph zone. I also frequently smoked cannabis.
  21. It's doubtful they know if anyone is in the UK or not .......... (they don't appear to be able to track known terrorists). But it would be impossible for them to find out where a person was in the world. The UK police certainly didn't know where I was after I moved to Thailand (no forwarding address), as they kept calling around my former UK addresses, to try and find me. Maybe the DWP are better at finding people than the UK police?
  22. Giving birth invalidates prenups in the UK. It appears it's not me that's clueless.
  23. Me too, and it's always been great. Any repairs (rabbits chewing through fibre cable) always done same or next day.
