  1. Check out available domains here: https://thdomain.thnic.co.th/register thnic are the official registrars.
  2. Is the charity registered as a Foundation? If it is then the Foundation as a juristic person can register assets such as vehicles under its name. If the charity is not a Foundation then a letter of understanding or indeed any document issued in the name if the charity is not legally binding as the charity has no legal standing. The risks of putting someone else's vehicle in your own name boil down to keeper of record offences, such as if the vehicle is caught on camera speeding and the driver cannot be ascertained. If the charity doesn't pay then the keeper would be liable. That said there are two halves to this, and the charity is trusting the individual with possessor title of the vehicle, so one would hope they would fix small issues such as potential speeding tickets.
  3. The house master is the first person listed in the book after the pages containing the particulars of the building. The house master does not have to be the owner of the building, although in the majority of cases they probably are also the owner.
  4. Q: When a foreigner buys a condo, I understand the blue Tabien Baan (let's denote it by TB) is issued but without their name on it. Does it mean nobody is listed as resident? A: In this situation nobody is listed as resident in the TB for a condominium unless the foreigner has Permanent Residence (of which you would definitely know if you have it). However, the foreigner may be able to be registered in a Yellow TB. Q: If a Thai company owns a property (be it a condo or a house), how is the blue TB handled, and can a Yellow TB be issued to a foreigner in this case? A: The TB is issued with the first page containing the house details completed. Successive pages are empty and no person is listed as living in the property. A Yellow TB may or may not be issued, depending on the judgement of your local District Office. Q: What are the options to get a yellow TB without owning a property? A: A Yellow TB does not belong to any one individual foreigner. Instead it is supplementary to the Blue TB and is normally kept by the house master. It is quite possible to have more than one foreigner listed in a Yellow TB at the same time. A foreigner does not have to own a property to be listed in the Yellow TB, so in terms of options all you have to do is 1. Convince a house master to include you in a yellow TB for their property, and 2. Convince the District Office to add you to this Yellow TB. This may be easier said than done in some provinces.
  5. An off topic post and a reply to it have been removed.
  6. This topic is closed. Forum Rule 30 states: You will not post messages looking for missing people, or seek information about any person except with written approval from support (at) aseannow.com Incidentally, from your description, you definitely did not see Stickman.
  7. In general, forum members are not polled regarding business decisions. Reactions have previously been discussed with the membership and the topic was devisive. We have tried both adding and removing reactions, as well as making reactions anonymous to members. At the present time we think we have the best balance for the forum as a whole, however we do review forum functionality on a regular basis.
  8. Exactly. And of those members who have reported stalking I do not think any were proven. We listen to your opinion, however we make decisions for the overall benefit of the forum. With so many members and so many options it is impossible to please everyone.
  9. If you consistently reported being stalked and you were never correct I would hope you would realise you are not being stalked.
  10. No, but we do check reactions if a member reports they are being trolled.
  11. As you can see from the linked article, moderators can view who posted reactions. With this system what we have found is that in practise stalking by emoji doesn't really occur.
  12. Exit 1 or 2. About a 5-10 minute walk depending on your speed.
  13. https://aseannow.com/forum/40-sports-hobbies-activities/ Would probably be your best bet.
  14. A truly kind man who helped so many. Like many others, my first post on this forum was a visa-related question.
  15. It will take time. First, you need to make an online appointment with the British Embassy to make a certified copy of your passport: https://book-consular-appointment.service.gov.uk/TimeSelection?location=53&service=8 The nearest appointments are about 1 week away. The service costs £25. Alternatively you can send your passport to them. Details here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/notarial-and-documentary-services-guide-for-thailand#certified-copy-of-a-british-passport Once you have the document you need from the British Embassy you will need to drop it off at a reputable translation company, along with a copy of your marriage certificate. The translation company will need a copy of your marriage certificate to get the exact translation required. It's also likely the translation company will require a copy of your passport, so do take that to the translation shop aswell. The translation shop will make the translation and then take all required documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for legalisation. The translation shop will need to book an appointment at the MFA. Again, there is a waiting time to get a slot. Once at the MFA the legalisation will also take time. I believe there is an express option with the MFA if required. I am currently having a document translated and legalised.
  16. At some point in the future her Thai passport will expire. Her next passport will have her new name on it. At that point her Thai passport and her Danish residency card will be in different names. She can deal with it now or deal with it later, but at some point her residency card will have to be changed to her new name. Sometimes it's better to do these things when you aren't in a rush and time is on your side.
  17. If you open a beer bar that only sells alcohol then you will be fighting against bars that make profit from other sources, meaning they can drop their alcohol prices to attract customers who will then pay for additional services. Racing to the bottom with prices is a dreadful idea, but some owners still do it.
  18. Consider the screen size. Most children prefer 14 inch or 15 inch screens. Yes that seems too small for us, but they prefer smaller and lighter if they are carrying them around.
  19. I printed out my keys using archival ink and paper. I then encased these in clear resin. The resin blocks are in a pelican case. The pelican case is in a welded non-magnetic stainless steel tube. The tube is buried in concrete under my swimming pool. I have more than one pool in more than one country.
