  1. They are having difficulties getting them to fill out the census forms.
  2. It's long been a joke about chinese restaurants serving cat. Cat In The Kettle
  3. The water is clear and non-cloudy so no problem. How about testing it for chemicals?
  4. They can get 4 or 5 F16's for the cost of one F35. Of course here, after 'special' morkups it will probably be 2 for 1.
  5. I don't understand why so many women wait so long to do something about it. They should make this guy eat a bowl full of dog <deleted>. A rather large bowl at that. I hope they give him a meaningful sentence that will at least make him consider not doing it again. Although that probably would not work on someone like this either.
  6. That's not exactly what it says. To put it in numbers out of the 64 deaths. 32 of the dead had not been vaccinated. 19 of the dead had been originally vaccinated but never had boosters. This means they were basically unvaccinated at this point. 13 of the dead had been vaccinated and had boosters. (but it doesn't state how many boosters or how long since their last booster) My doctor told me,about 2 weeks ago, that the vaccines available now are bivalent.
  7. Very common occurance in Thailand. At a local shrine here you see this fairly often. They say the spirit likes to watch movies. I tell them they didn't have movies when he was alive so how could he like them. There is some boy statue people like to go pray to for numbers now. Apparently he liked sunglasses and guns. They like lighting firecrackers at it. I guess to simulate gun fire? More wats are putting his statue in them now. Good money maker for them.
  8. Ratchaburi is known for it's pottery factories. Urban legend has it that the royal family would come to the factories here and gather up what they wanted. Instead of paying for it they would give the owners numbers to play on the next lottery.
  9. 319196+292972+831567+516461=1960196 1960196/4=490049 You're welcome.
  10. Pay someone to move the unit to a ground mounted position if possible. Those issues wil all go away. I don't recall seeing rubber washers on wall mounts. Plus you would probably still get some transfer through the bolts themselves.
  11. I remember in high school thinking to myself, "Boy if I get a job making $5/hour I'll be set for life." ????????????
  12. You can reenter until the visa expires. You didn't say what day exactly. But for example if it expires on 12 May 2024 you can reenter until 11 May 2024. Even if you come back much earlier than that you could leave and reenter again just before it expires to get a new permission to stay date which would allow you another year from that date to stay in Thailand. But once the original visa expires you need to get a reentry permit to keep your extension valid if you leave the country.
  13. It's just an estimate. Also adding the costs of drinks. I never drink the free water offered at lots of places. While I can get a plate of food for about 35 baht where I live in other areas it can be more expensive.
  14. There's a surefire way to make sure all the homeless move to Pattaya
  15. I don't know how much money you have but there are investments that can give you monthly income. JEPI pays around 17%p.a.. TSLY pays around 30%p.a.. but has a very short history and could be risky. You need to check stuff out on your own and determine how much risk you are willing to take.
  16. I see him occasionally in the town I live in, Chombueng. If he wants to get something from the local market he just stops his car in the middle of the road and goes shopping. The police here don't do anything to him. Think what you want of Pareena it's nice that she is trying to stop her dad from driving. But even if they did take his license he would most likely be driving anyway. I'm sure he has one of those lifetime licenses that they used to issue.
  17. There are no prescriptions used in Thailand. Lots of medicine can be bought from any local pharmacy if you know what you want. As long as it is carried in Thailand. Lots of people in Thailand go to pharmacies and tell them what their problem is and the pharmacy gives them what they think will help, thus avoiding going to see a doctor. There are controlled drugs here though that can only be obtained from a hospital. Which means paying to see a doctor.
  18. and yet using scamming agents that sell you airline tickets you don't actually have is ok. If you are living off of your savings with no income and don't have enough to meet the visa financial requirements I'd say your going to be in trouble eventually.
  19. My wife usually checks in to hotels and lots of hotels don't ask for my passport. Some do though. The hotels can get fined if they are caught with foreigners there that have not been reported. I have only once filed a TM30 in over 10 years here and travel fairly often.
  20. Wishful thinking. The senators have to be more concerned about the will of their leader.
  21. That's exactly why the senators were placed there in the first place, to ignore the consensus.
