Semi Commercial flights I am so bloody upset !!!
bkk6060 replied to alyx's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
What is semi commercial? Anyway, your post seems lacking in research Thai Air has 3 flight a week from Paris to Bkk. -
If the greeting was "hello fellow Sexpat" I would shake your hand.

It will come back much quicker then many think. There is tremendous pent up demand of millions in the world who want to travel. Thailand will get many lower and mid-level tourists back who are looking for a less expensive alternative. Millions of male tourists wanting to come. I disagree about the shops, etc. they can reopen most of these places in a couple of weeks. Roll up the metal doors on areas like Nana or Soi 6 for example, get the word out I bet in a week the places will be up and running.

People who do not tip are possibly jealous that the worker makes more money then they do. A UK pension for example is around $1000 a month what a joke many Thais make more then that. Cheap and jealous would be my answer.

UK continues its refusal to recognise vaccines administered in Thailand
bkk6060 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It's like giving another country restaurant with questioned oversight, regulation, or health inspections a complicated meal recipe. How can you be assured the recipe you provided was followed and the meal will be presented properly and cleanly without compromise? Bottom line, the UK seems to not trust Thailand. Maybe they are aware of some things that have not been made public. Either way, at this point I doubt they will ever approve it. -
So, you want to get a Moderna booster one month after being fully vaxed? Also, at this point one AZ (not approved in UK) and one Moderna does nothing for you to avoid quarantine.

Covid vaccine required?
bkk6060 replied to scroggins's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Just get a booster before you come back. And, I would think/hope boosters would be much more available in Thailand sometime next year. -
you do realise if your old you wont be a long time right?

When I can no longer enjoy good sex and a good meal, I will think about dying. -
They actually own a lot in the U.S. California for example has millions of Chinese mostly who have come over the past 30 years buying homes, land and businesses. I do not think it will ever happen in Thailand but I believe Prayuth is correct. It will probably help stimulate the economy and create some appreciation in real estate which has been lacking for years.

Haha. Of course she does Singapore one of the richest countries in the world why would she want to come back to an economically depressed Thailand? -
Covid vaccine required?
bkk6060 replied to scroggins's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Explained above but I think the vaccination requirements based upon recent information are bogus. The Thai requirement does say this: Certificate of vaccination completed at least 14 days and no more than 12 months before arrival in Thailand. 12 months? The recent announcements are even the best rated vaccines wear off after 6 to 8 months (or even less) which is why boosters are being administered. So, a 2 dose Sinovac given 12 months ago I guess seems to qualify. -
Every First Jab Will Be Sinovac Vaccine in October

Good to know the SIn and AZ combo still does not qualify. -
Hmm. You think so? I have not seen any medical recommendations to get a booster 3 months after your second shot. Good luck, but don't be surprised if they deny it.

I saw a Dermatologist at Bum recently for a consultation and he spent about 20 minutes with me, no charge. I eventually had surgery with him to add the cost of the surgery was a whooping 80,000 b less then a competing hospital. I would call and ask. They seem to want/need the business now so give it a shot.
