  1. Correct. And it's rarely enforced anyway.
  2. Perhaps it doesn't matter, but this doesn't seem to have been a "mass shooting" like the examples in the US, as most of the child victims were stabbed to death.
  3. Why is being referred to as a mass shooting, with comparisons to the US, when the majority of the child victims were stabbed to death?
  4. And you know this how? Amateur psychology doesn't help. Was "Thainess" the reason for Dunblane, Sandy Hook etc etc?
  5. B2S don't seem to do it but a branch of Mailboxes Etc at Big C on Rama 4 did a sterling job for a negligible price.
  6. True. And I wouldn't expect much from a government translator anyway!
  7. It was most likely just a poor translation or lazy reporting. It remains a recommendation, not mandatory, despite what the article says.
  8. Any up-to-date info on this. Do B2S branches around central Bangkok still provide a laminating service?
  9. Good to know. Progress is slowly being made!
  10. Yes, it's recommended, not mandatory.
  11. If you feel OK, just ride it out. That's what I did.
  12. That's interesting. The signs I saw on the BTS were advisory. Is this a recent change?
  13. Why not? What will make you more confident about this or do you think you'll be feeling this way indefinitely?
  14. Perhaps you should google "partygate".
  15. Are the majority of those dying in Europe/the US unvaccinated?
  16. It's truly shocking that a few thousand Tories have lumbered the country with such an obviously incompetent PM. I think even Tory MPs now realise this. She's so out of her depth that if the consequences were not so worrying, it would be funny.
  17. To be fair, it does affect me if my child is still forced to wear a mask in school.
  18. They'll have no choice in two years. Truss and her Chancellor are likely to be removed before then, though.
  19. Definitely plan to try the Purple Parrot.
  20. The only good to come out of this, is a Labour landslide in 2024 and the Tories remaining out of office for years - of forever if Starmer can be persuaded to go for PR.
  21. I'm inclined to agree, although if the staff feel safer not showing their mouths, it's fine by me. What's important is that I, as a customer in 7-11, no longer have to wear a mask.
  22. I do (and have done for nearly 20 years) but fortunately not in area where I have to be regularly disgusted by shirtless people.
  23. I tried to comprehend it at the time (and on this Forum). But in hindsight I believe it has generally been accepted (globally) as an over-reaction that had minimal effect.
  24. No, unless it's on the beach or by the pool, it's disgusting.
  25. Depends which school! My kid's school reopens on 17 October. It better be maskless too!
