    I was there last week, and mask wearing on the BTS is just recommended. Plenty of passengers, including myself, were maskless.

    Thanks for the replies. The guy in question managed to leave (via the airport) but I've advised him there may be (will be?) problems when he comes back in a year or two and wants to work again.

    Have there been any changes to the ramifications of leaving Thailand without cancelling an Extension of Stay based on work and the work permit? As I understood it previously, if you managed to make it out of the country, the only downside would be applying for another work-based extension and work permit in the future. Is this still the case? How difficult would it be to come back a year or so later and start work again?

    Nonsense. Soi 22 is on the other side of Sukhumvit road and is a good 15 minute walk from soi Cowboy. I should know, I used to live there.

    The westernised version in the photo looks great. The more authentic version contains those horrible, hard 'pea-shaped' things and is invariably over-spiced. Due to its spice (even in the western version) it should be called a curry not a stew.

    I guess it would depend on whether the language being used in 2020s Germany was not dissimilar to the language used in 1930s Germany.

    Yawn. How many times is Lineker going to be misquoted? I guess it's understandable if people only get their news from The Sun and the Daily Mail.

    The viewing figures went up compared to the week before (but were still lower than the average MOTD audience) as many just tuned in to see how it would be done. I doubt there would be as many next week, if it had continued in that format, but fortunately we'll never know!
