  1. extremely low. But I had SSD almost killed by a bad USB enclosure: SMART error counters started to grow, e.g. read errors, uncorrectable errors and reallocated sectors; the read test was able to read only a first dozen of gigabytes from the disk, and after them disk gone offline, after disconnecting and reconnecting back the read test was able to read the same dozen of gigabytes only and disk went offline again. But after I took the SSD out of the enclosure and connected directly to the SATA port all problems disappeared and error counters seem frozen - no new errors added since then. So I would recommend not using a USB enclosure and connect SSD directly, also try a different SATA cables - yours might be faulty.
  2. lol. I think this drop is a short term and the exchange rate will grow up again soon, once Russian wealthy people start to dump Roubles and/or flee Russia to preserve their wealth.
  3. DTAC is more stable and generally has better speeds, AIS has better overall coverage, and TRUE-H is sh/t
  4. Maybe your computer has malware, or IP address is "dirty" because of someone else's malware using this IP before. Try to get a new IP address by turning off router, waiting ~10 minutes, and turning it on again. Also check your IP score here: https://mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx
  5. Despite Lazada's engine is definitely a total cr2p which shows 'suspicious traffic' captcha on every single click, the fact that you get blocked on this forum too shows that there is a problem with your browser indeed. Possibly you have installed some malicious add-on. Create a new browser profile and do not install any add-ons, and check these websites. If everything is ok - then install the same add-ons you've had in the main profile and check again.
  6. I'd say stay away from Five Eyes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Eyes software and hardware products
  7. The only thing that _REALLY_ threatens tourists - what my friends tell me and other ppl write on the internets - is the possibility to get into a self-paid quarantine (as insurance companies do not cover asymptomatic COVID), and to lose 1-2 weeks of a vacation. And that's why people choose other countries for a vacation instead of Thailand.
  8. you are wrong (or partially right) - government have "agents" and/or can break encryption of public VPN services only, which handed the encryption keys to those governments. If you properly setup your own VPN server then no one would be able to break it. (except NSA ofcourse :D )
  9. I'm young and healthy and do not have any underlying conditions, and I couldn't even remember when I was ill for the last time. So I am definitely not in the risk group, but have to get papers for travel. And when selecting among untested experimental drugs I would choose Pfizer for being the only somewhat trusted company. I don't want to take an experimental untested unverified drug from the company which have never made any drug before, except that abovementioned vaccine.
  10. lol, so it's same as here in Phuket. The Pfizer vaccines are available only for those who had Sino/Astra before, and as I don't have any prior vaccines I am not eligible for Pfizer, even for money. I am interested in getting Pfizer as a first vaccine, and no hospital seem to provide it. I was asking about Pfizer, as Moderna is available even as a 1st vaccine, but I don't want it.
  11. Facebook marketplace has much better offers. The websites such as one2car are the last resort for when you can't sell the car on Facebook. I see some cars listed for years on one2car & friends.
  12. Do you know a hospital where it is available for sure? I want it because I will need those stupid papers for the travel in the nearest months, and I don't want any other vaccine and could not find a place to buy papers only
  13. Moderna is widely available here on Phuket (on the contrary to Pfizer, unfortunately, which I would prefer over all other vaccines)
  14. yes, Firefox is definitely more security-conscious than Apple byproducts.
  15. nope, it's web server misconfiguration and in addition to the SSL misconfiguration they also use insecure cipher. Short googling revealed that DigiCert company is not added to the trusted list in some operating systems.
  16. all what Neeranam does is promotes his cr***to.com debit card. He put me on ignore list after I quoted his message "I've never bought Bitcoin" after he said that he's bought Bitcoin :D
  17. There are ways to cashout a large sum from crypto to bank. 1) if - you bought crypto on a still alive exchange (to provide your login credentials and/or show screenshots) - you can show where your initial fiat came from (letter of employment, etc) - the sum is above 1'000'000 USD then there are Swiss crypto-friendly banks which will happily accept you as a customer. 2) if the sum is few hundred thousands and/or you've bought crypto a now-defunct exchange such as BTC-e.com, but still have some paperwork, then there are Lithuanian crypto-friendly banks which will happily accept you as a customer. 3) if you have no paperwork whatsoever then there are Dominican (with Russian owners) and UAE crypto-friendly banks which will happily accept you as a customer. note that "paperwork" means exactly "papers" - the financial institutions know nothing (and don't want to learn) about "blockchain", "transactions", "timestamps" et cetera and will not trust that you've bought crypto in 2010, they want a paper or a "notarized screenshot" from the crypto exchange showing when you've bought crypto and for which amount of USD, and where those USD came from (i.e. your letter of employment from year 2010) 4) it will take a very long time but still valid way to cashout: just exchange small amounts montly.
  18. Exactly. We, the remote workers, are: "programmers", "administrators", "designers", even "Youtubers" or "Tiktokers", but when a person is just a "digital nomad" it means that they do nothing but watch self-development or "how to start a multi-million business" videos all the day. That's one of the things I dislike in IT (well, I'm talking about "real" IT, not designing or copywriting work) - you have to learn 24/7 somehow finding extra time for the work, and the more you work the less you learn, and the less you learn the less work you'll have. I hope to retire around 40 y.o. to end that vicious cycle. My pension fund consists of 10+ various cryptocurrencies, and my knowledge and experience will find me a job even after 40 (but I hope I won't need it)
  19. I totally agree with every single word, had the very same experience managing several remote workers and even a few living on the very same island in Thailand. And being a kind of such remote worker myself I could confirm that it is extremely difficult to work productively from home, it's just a very different atmosphere compared to the office. So if you want your project to succeed - you should rent an office and collect your "digital nomads" there, for a usual 5/2 schedule. +
  20. that reminds me of my home country where government officials get fined for 7'000'000 for stealing 100'000'000 from the budget and a probation instead of a jail because it was their very first felony. Pretty good business, if you ask me.
  21. obviously fake table which only purpose is to lure people into buying some particular sh'tcoins. And one person got caught already ????
  22. You've made a mistake by putting 100% in Bitcoin, should have bought few different coins. Anyway, what concerns me much more is - are your funds insured? Is ndax.io government regulated? Will you get your money back when ndax.io would get hacked? If you are not completely sure about these questions then you should withdraw Bitcoins to a multi-sign wallet, hardware or paper, and store the private keys in a different safe places.
