wat ???? check if the domain was transferred correctly - lookup your domain here https://mxtoolbox.com/MXLookup.aspx but do not agree to any their "fix problems" offers without consulting with us first ???? your internet provider could block traffic to port 21. try an encrypted FTP connection to another port, your hosting provider should have sent you the information about how to use SFTP/FTPS.

Is there a digital picture frame with a web browser?

what about purchasing a second-hand tablet? -
"same" = "could not establish secure connection"? there is a redirect to HTTPS then, or your browser forces HTTPS redirect. try another HTTP-only website, for example http://mirror.centos.org/ make sure you see exactly "http" in the address bar, not "https", and if you see "https" - change to "http" manually.

and yes, it also looks like a DNS problem, check which DNS servers are used on your devices and in your router's web interface. also check this: - do HTTP websites work?
-
check the date and time on all your devices including the router (through its web interface), the secure connection would not establish if the date is wrong because applications will think that the SSL certificate is invalid because it is either not yet issued or outdated.

Two Russian tourists robbed of thousands of dollars from same Pattaya hotel
fdsa replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
My logic is they should have kept their money in the bank and use cards instead of bringing piles of cash with them. -

They could use Russian bank accounts. Unionpay did not sanction Russia unlike Visa and Mastercard. -

which issues exactly? I've got the LCD cable (the one that goes from the motherboard through the hinges to the display) worn out over time and had to wait for several days for it to be delivered from abroad, as there are no such cables locally.

I have a Clevo laptop too and am very happy with it, however it is pretty old (bought it around 2015 too) so I don't know about quality of their recent models. But the old ones are very good indeed! However keep in mind that you won't be able to quickly repair a Clevo laptop if something hits the fan, because their spare parts are not as widely available as generic Asus or Dell laptops. So if you don't have a spare computer to use while waiting for the spare parts to come from abroad I would recommend against buying Clevo. P.S. I've bought mine in Singapore not Thailand, in this shop: https://www.aftershockpc.com they have some spare parts in stock so you might want to bookmark them just in case.

VPN vs Cloud Computers for connecting to home from Thailand
fdsa replied to WaveHunter's topic in IT and Computers
using a VPN is very same as you give all your network traffic to a 3rd party (VPN provider) instead of giving it to your home internet provider. If your traffic is not encrypted with SSL/TLS - the VPN provider will see everything you do online. And if encrypted with weak methods (as in like 90% of websites) they will see a part of your information such as domains you visit and possibly URLs, which they will sell to the marketing agencies later. but yes - at least you won't store your information on someone else's "cloud" computer. -
I'm afraid there are only two options - either order your dream laptop somewhere abroad and have it shipped here or buy a base model (with your desired CPU and GPU but minimal amount of RAM and cheap HDD) and stuff it with RAM modules and SSD bought separately.

I haven't seen its backend code but seeing the frontend I can tell that Lazada (and Aliexpress) is a bunch of shítcode and an excellent example of how not to make websites. To the OP: try Shopee, they are much less annoying.

VPN vs Cloud Computers for connecting to home from Thailand
fdsa replied to WaveHunter's topic in IT and Computers
setting up a local computer in Thailand to make it look like it's residing in USA might be much more difficult than buying a separate computer and using a Teamviewer. If I was OP I would choose the Teamviewer route. -

VPN vs Cloud Computers for connecting to home from Thailand

It doesn't have enough horsepower for the modern Web such as Facebook or Instagram. For simple websites such as online banking it should be Ok though.
