  1. Depends how you returned to Thailand. If new visa or visa exempt then you need to file a TM30. Read the thread attachment in my post several posts back. It explains clearly the change in rules June 2020..
  2. You are correct in your first sentence. Many folk use a dedicated bank account for immigration purposes. I can understand immigration issue with MANY transactions in various months being "consolidated" On the other hand accounts with various months zero transactions being an issue is ludicrous. Just more rubbish from a stupid system. I love Thailand but seriously so many areas of immigration rules are a joke. Back to your post. All you need to do is make ONE transaction every month. For my next extension I will do the bank statements.
  3. Not to mention the added hurdles for those with Permanent Residency status. "Can of worms" good description.
  4. Pretty sure they are not acceptable to immigration. Requires bank statements with the bank stamp . Kasikorn told me today that can be done on the day (unlike Bangkok bank) Cost 200baht
  5. Yes I had same issue last November at CW for annual extension based on retirement using funds in the bank. In the past photocopies of bank book pages along with bank book had been accepted for many years. Immigration issue was that I had various months with zero transactions. They wanted Bank Statements. Asked to see supervisor. Eventually approved with I had to promise to provide bank statements for next extension. As for your other question. "Retirement Visa" There is no such thing. It's shorthand for non O based on retirement and subsequent extensions. OR Could also be a Non O-A...OR Also could be a multiple entry Non O (retirement) .
  6. Here is excerpt from the first post from webfact in the thread I posted few posts back. It outlines where TM30 is NOT required for trips out of province and out of Thailand.
  7. I have been in Thailand for 10 years and have never done a TM30. Bangkok. My first ever extension from a non O retirement I provided a Lease along with the other requirements such as financials. Have never required TM30 for certificate of residence, TM47, Extension etc It is possible that CW might start requesting it. Last November the asked for TM47 which was first time ever
  8. Just an example..... You go to Savannakhet and obtain a ME Non O marriage and enter Thailand. Visa valid for 12 months You need to make a TM30. That visa is multi when you exit and reenter you do not need to file another TM30
  9. The OP in this attached thread appears to indicate TM30 non required for exit reenter on Multi visa . eg ME Non O https://aseannow.com/topic/1169664-thai-immigration-announce-changes-to-tm30-reporting/
  10. eVisa issued via email and you do a print out and show it to immigration on arrival at your destination.
  11. In approx 2019 there was a change in boss of immigration. Big Joke exit and Big Oud new boss. The TM30 was a show of doing something. Thought for first time ever I would need to do a TM30. However this all fizzled out and in Nov 2019 did annual extension CW without TM30
  12. Any time you enter Thailand with a new visa you are required to do a TM30.
  13. Doesn't need to be written. Needs to be what immigration accept. First post in this thread by BritTim. Have similar posts from ubonjoe. https://aseannow.com/topic/1297092-non-o-visa-retirement-purpose/
  14. I already have you on ignore for good reason. In this thread alone you have gone sideways re "joint account" and corrected by 2 mods and myself. Now re funds need to be shown being transferred from abroad. For application for a non O retirement in Thailand that is the case... HOWEVER If the funds have been in Thai bank account for some time then proof funds came from abroad in most cases is not required. Please ignore my posts as you are boring me
  15. Good idea. I posted my experience above. I couldn't quite understand the io (zero English) when I showed her my online booking...she kept saying "not 15 day" Had no idea what she meant. Thinking now she meaning I need wait 15 day for approval. Anyway the appointment system works a treat
  16. OP stop your rant. For someone bringing family to Thailand without looking into 30 day extension requirements is reckless.. You need to provide TM30 for immigration One solution , to check into a hotel (one night) making sure they can provide you screenshot of a TM30. Your children being under 15 are not subject to overstay laws. Good luck with Ed visas. There are better options with dependant children attending school.
  17. https://aseannow.com/topic/1294544-report-extension-non-o-retirement-bank-method-at-cw/ Tired of your long winded reports. Apparently this guy didn't require TM30 Same as my experience. Yet you still posted rubbish. Now permanent ignore.
  18. Not dismissing your post but who cares what Germany embassy did during covid. It's 2023 now. As you point out not currently a requirement. Cheers.
  19. Next time you are asked for a TM30 ask for supervisor. Your reports over years state TM30 is required. No
  20. So your special. No one EVER asked for my TM30. (10 years) My most recent Nov last year. Things do change as that extension the doc check chick asked for a TM47. That was a first.
  21. Stop. Done 10 at CW. I have never even done a TM30 since I entered Thailand over 10 years ago. Happy to report back in October my failure due to not having TM30. Don't listen to Doc Check chicks. Ask to see supervisor. Are you referring to immigration officer asking for TM30 or the Doc check chicks. Ignore those robots.
  22. Your annual extended report. I am doing same in October. Can't wait to report back that TM30 was not required and my TM47 and lease was sufficient. If wrong I will post accordingly. Why you didn't book appointment is surprising. It works like clockwork. Unrelated but I did 90 report last Wednesday with appointment. Took 5 minutes.. Straight to desk and out.
