  1. OK skip the idea of two accounts. One more thing. If you have no joy with immigration ... Have you used your 60 day extension to visit wife. That would provide 2 months of seasoning. Then obtain extension based on retirement.
  2. Tick Tock. Best go asap to find out if the small short time withdrawal will be overlooked. Did you reply to option of supplying 2 bank accounts. Obviously would need to be in your name only.
  3. I understand what you are pointing out however.... Assuming that this 20k withdrawal was done recently, I recall (think it was uj) stating that the balance could be as low as 400k in the 2 months prior to changing from based on retirement to based on marriage. Folk doing that I always suggest stick with the 800k for two months prior to application just to be on safe side.. If withdrawal was recent , don't think issue for the OP.
  4. The OP mentions 800k so it's extension based on retirement. The requirement is 800k in account two months prior to application and maintained for 3 months and not below 400k at other times.
  5. OP, do you also have another bank account in your name only. Immigration will (should) accept two bank accounts that together meet the requirements. OP, you mention wife. You could change your extension to based on marriage. That only requires 400k two months prior to application plus under consideration period.
  6. In others words the thread is about nothing. When return to Thailand with a new visa or visa exempt etc you are required to make a TM30 even if returning to your place of residence.
  7. Well that is why you need to file a TM30 even if returning to place of residence.
  8. Nothing from CM is useful as they are a rogue immigration office. They have their own rule book.
  9. I think there is something wrong with this thread. There are MANY extensions done at CW every day. There have not been many threads similar to this issue at CW.
  10. Did you return to Thailand on new visa? You posted this in reply to @Lemsta69 Ok....I think that's what it is.
  11. Stop defensive mode.. I am not the only person that has posted your posts are confusing . Then you attack the posts.. Quite frankly you included so much extraneous information it just clouds your thread. So it's good you update Kalasin experience. Stay tuned.
  12. What the heck do you mean. The OP started thread based on applying for extension based on marriage. He did not ask about agent .
  13. Very true. Most of us living in Thailand obviously love the joint. One negative is the various rules over the 75 immigration offices here. My thinking is that AseanNow provides platform for recent experiences regarding extensions or whatever.
  14. IMO , AseanNow is a great forum for advice. More importantly is that Thailand is a shifting sand on some requirements so this good options for you questions.
  15. What is your point. That answer means little to this forum. First hand replies from the 75 immigration offices is what AseanNow is about. The replies will vary. Edit: I just now read robot reply. Is that a joke. That advice is same rubbish when I robot chat eg airlines
  16. Geez. You were rejected based on not having provided a TM30. That is very easy to state in your OP. ... And yes that should not be required unless you changed address . Edit: now I read above it was extension based on marriage. Advice: make a detailed OP in future. There seems currently more scrutiny on extensions based on marriage
  17. What type of extension? What was reason given for rejection? Guessing they were asking for TM30. Was your previous annual extension done at CW? Seriously post sensible details.
  18. Bit of a tip. The reason your posts (in this thread) are confusing is that you keep including ancient history. I keep having to read sentences several times. Seems you returned last Nov on visa exempt and obtained a non O based on marriage. Now applying for 12 month extension. Leave out everything else. BTW the 2000baht also confuses as that is fee for non O application. For extension it is 1900b Marriage extensions always more scrutiny as not only require proof of marriage but also living together. Think you got a raw deal. Perhaps gaps in your status in Thailand drew attention.
  19. You are doing the apple and oranges mistake. I'm Oz and yes recent trip back home was no stamp in or out of Oz. However I live in Thailand and travel extensively in Asia. Some visas require full page. Even annual reentry permit (every year) takes half page. Thailand and other countries such as Vietnam, stamp out and in. Sometimes space out stamps slightly and results in 3 trips per page.
  20. First up most passports are valid for 10 years. They can deteriorate if frequent travel and living in Thailand where they are produced for many thing such as banking, check in hotels etc. Makes good sense to renew early in some cases. Especially with wait time for passport (for some) since covid. Reentry permits etc remain valid in a cancelled permit. The OP does not lose days off his permission of stay in old pp provided he has reentry permit.
  21. I don't understand much of this. Was this your first extension to non O visa? . Think your experience is not typical.
  22. Completely disregard reporting back. Nonsense not enforced. Which immigration office? Assuming Jomtien.
  23. Thanks for detailed post. I actually had not seen that stamp previously. The "get out of Dodge stamp" And yes sometimes folk ask if they can (for example) extend a non O by 30 days. Of course cannot..
  24. Transferring funds out of Thailand is not straight forward. Not possible using WISE for example. DEE money is company that many use and has office in Sukhumvit Rd Near Asoke BTS. You will receive better advice from the Banking and Finance forum Recently (one month ago) I purchased a condo from a UK chap and gave him cash. No longer lives in Thailand however has a Thai bank account. Anyway he had to provide proof of sale of his condo. The OP could use income method as he is Canadian. Edit: note for others regarding using money in the bank method. If obtaining non O retirement outside of Thailand then no requirement to show funds came from abroad.
