  1. Have you previously obtained 60 day extension to visit wife. You could obtain that and push your extension time to allow for trip. The under consideration period is generally one month.
  2. The OP is asking about 30 day extension. From the OP.... "I'm referring to the 30-day extension."
  3. You are confused. Good advice given above this post. You mention "short holiday" For flying visa exempt to Thailand the airline at departure may wish to see return flight. Guessing your friends have a return flight (or onward flight) within 60 days.
  4. From the OP ... "I have a friend coming to Thailand at end of September for a short holiday," While title heading confusing the friends of OP will not require funds for visa exempt entry.n
  5. Why would you obtain a SETV when a visa exempt entry also provides 60 day stamp. The OP has confused Title. Seems he is asking about visa exempt entry however using the word Visa which is not uncommon. Has not contributed to thread since OP.
  6. Have they considered visa exempt entry currently 60 days same as a tourist visa. Both options can be extended by 30 days. 1900 baht. https://aseannow.com/topic/1285230-evidence-of-adequate-finance-for-single-entry-tourist-visa/
  7. A standard 30 day extension no issue for attendance.. For 12 months extension retirement most agents send up country. No need to attend. Some agents in Jomitien deal with that office and you need to attend for the very point you outlined.
  8. Agent can obtain 30 day extension without you being present. Not sure if @ThaiVisaCentre still a member. Can advise better than me
  9. From the OP, ..... "I have a valid re-entry permit. Any issues inbound?" He is asking about any issues flying to (inbound) to Thailand. Answer ...as he has a reentry permit an onward flight not required by airline at departure or immigration on arrival. You are incorrect regards obtaining a reentry permit from a non O single entry 90 day permission of stay. You can obtain a reentry permit to enable trip out/return during the 90 days.
  10. There never was a fast track in Zone 2. Yes it's clearly signed. Ignore the red square in this pic.
  11. Using income method for extensions based on retirement you will need to show 12 monthly transfers. Some folk currently using funds in the bank would need to plan ahead and run both options at the same time. At the point where you can show 12 months of transfers at time of applying for extension then no problem Many immigration offices will just want to see the bank book or bank statement to show proof of 12 transfers. Personally I would avoid the combination method. In reality some immigration offices don't accept it
  12. Jomitien has their own rules. Eg for 12 months extensions processed at Jomitien the agent will have you tag along to immigration. Google "Maneerat" located Soi 13/2. They will advise you on phone or Line cost and procedure for 30 day extension to VE stamp entry.
  13. Yes. In fact some agents even do a pick up drop off service. Which immigration office. If you do it yourself you need a TM7, photo and some basic photocopies of pp and most likely TM30+ 1900b
  14. The limit of 2 visa exempt via land per calendar year rule has been removed. Also visa exempt entry now provides 60 day stamp and can be extended at immigration by 30 days (1900 b)
  15. What type of extension are you asking about. If 30 day extension the agent can do that without you. OR are you asking about obtaining a non O retirement and subsequent 12 month extension. BTW: visa exempt entry currently provides 60 day stamp
  16. Are these reports from folk using border bounce agents (minivan runs) ?
  17. Calm down. The OP does not have a valid visa. Seems he has a reentry permit that protects the validity of his permission of stay. Was a simple question....will airline or immigration request an onward flight? Answer: No
  18. What is your point TM30 is required for change of address. TM47 is required if staying longer than 90 days in Thailand. What bit don't you understand
